I plan on taking my front skid plate off and having it sprayed with rhino liner, or maybe diy with raptor liner. The silver skid plate doesn’t match anything else.

It matches the RAM letters on the grill and the wheels. I think the silver skid plate is a nice touch from the all black everywhere you see on a lot of cars/trucks. That all black Rebel looks kinda cool, but I think the original is better. I can see doing the skid plate in black actually, but I am dead set against the grill letters and the wheels, which I think break up the black very well.

FYI, you can paint over plasti-dip with regular paint and even clearcoat it. While it makes removing it a little more difficult (i.e. harder to peel off), it is still 100% removable without affecting your original paint. I've done it on wheels, center caps, front grills and it works/looks fine. There is a slight texture finish because of the plasti-dip but that's expected.

Not a white truck, but I plastidipped mine black as well as the front emblem. This was right after I did it, but I've had it on for almost 10 months now and have only done some minor touchups on it. I took it heavily offroading twice so it got pretty cut up where the skid plate did its job, but I just sprayed over it. Still looks great as long as you don't climb under my truck and look up...but from every other angle it has held up well.

This is where I'm trying to go with mine. Yours looks great man.

I have the black ram letter for the front end ready to put on, just need to get the front plate done black. No idea why they didnt just keep the whole thing murdered.

Just wondering how the plasti dip holds up against daily driving. I think ultimately I would like to get it powder coated but plasti dip not Forever

I originally did the plastidip 5 months ago to make sure that I liked the black vs the silver with the intent to spray with line-x or similar product. With that said I'm very happy with how it's held up including 2 trips from Atlanta to NY and back and even a few car washes. Stills looks like the day I did it so now I'm really in no rush to line-x especially since it appears you need to remove the bumper in order to remove skid plate

I've had dip on mine for over a year now and I've only touched it up once after an offroad trip. It has held up extremely well through multiple washes, mud coverings, etc. Got a bit shredded underneath when my skid plate did its job while offroading, but its not noticeable unless you go underneath. I'm very pleased.

I did mine with Plasti-Dip. Looks great!!! Here is a few before and after shots.

Once you look underneath your truck, and you see the process of removing the Skid plate; you will immediately be like F*** that....

Stock, white, and black with plasti dip. Will take it all apart and use that raptor liner once I figure what color I’m going to go with.

The fact my truck came completely black with all black labeling and then silver letters and skid plate annoys me. Changed the letters and got the skir plate done for $200. So much better now.

coloe matched the trim above the grill, skid plate and mirror covers (bought these). The skid plate i put on a few extra coats of 2k clear to make it more durable and for it to be slightly different by being so glossy and light reflecting off i

let me know your thoughts
