2021 RAM 1500 Limited:
As I switch between Bluetooth and android auto I've had to pair my phone several times upon start up. It's as if it "forgets" my phone when I turn the truck off. Also, the system will not save my favorite contacts when it does recognize my phone's Bluetooth connection, which is hit or miss. Has anyone had this issue? If so what did you do to correct it. thanks

I don't use AA, but use Apple CarPlay in my 2021. I have not experienced your issues.

Have you tried removing your phone from the radio and your truck from your phone and repairing it?

When I'm on AA (not to be confused with AA meetings). I notice that my contacts are listed but yet when I do a voice command to call a contact, she says "there are no contacts in your phone book". I haven't found a way to solve this as I'm pretty sure I imported/transferred contacts to my Unconnect.

Use Google Assistant to call when using AA. Hold the voice button down until Google responds.

Ditto, use long press for phone commands
Short press is internal Ram assistant.

I noticed my phone takes a min to sync back up to BT on its own it seems.
My Ford stuff has been like that as well.

I had more problems with Ford for some reason...always needed to use a third party app for messaging, etc. But we'll see how the long press works for mine. The weird thing is if I'm not hard connected to AA and I'm only on wireless bluetooth...there are contacts available for me to call on command.

When AA is connected, bluetooth turns off so as far as the truck's radio is concerned there is nothing there to wirelessly connect to (and it can't access the AA info). It's like 2 completely separate systems running in parallel. I think there is an option in AA (on your phone, in the settings) to keep BT on during AA so maybe that would work for you?

OP- on my '20 I've never had the issue you describe. I think Securityguy's suggestion is worth trying.

Ah ok...I'll look into it, thanks!
