Blind spot monitoring

Here is where I am at. My AEB/BSM issues had gotten pretty bad, occuring on more than half of drives. I took the truck into the dealer in late June and drove it in with the issue active and left it running for them to diagnose. They found a bad pin in a connecter in the wiring harness doing a "wiggle test." I picked the truck up and drove it home in a heavy rainstorm and it was great until that evening when I restarted it and the AEB/BSM issues all came back. Took the truck back to the dealer a couple of days later and they have had it for over 30 days- they thought they found another wiring issue and fixed that, but the problem came back on testing. They subsequently found a bad module and it took a while to get it in. Dealer has been working with Engineering on this problem and they have another Tungsten in for the same issue also. My module is now here, but not installed yet. I am expecting truck back today or Monday. Been driving a loaner Big Horn from the dealer.

Once I get the truck back, I will be happy if this issue is fixed. If not, I may actually move to lemon law the truck. But will have a convo with the dealer before then and see if they have another resolution path in mind. This is the 3rd visit to the dealer for the same issue and more than 30 days out of service. I really like the truck and it looks like the Tungstens are going for more money than I paid, but I don't want to be dealing this issue forever. This has been pretty disappointing.

I do wonder if this BSM issue is confined to the higher level trims or the ones with hands free active driving assist. I don't hear about lower trims having this problem but kep hearing about Tungstens and Limiteds with it. I think our BSM detectors are in the rear bumper vs other trims have them in the tailights I believe. I suspect the different components or where they are located is the issue. I would hope Ram finds a fix.
I've only seen people with the higher level trims mentioning this issue, including the RHO model as well.

For mine they fixed my issue with the door locks, still doesn't show up in the options, but it's working now. They've ordered a replacement module for the one that is behind the back seat. Waiting on that part to arrive for them to swap it out.
