BLACK or RED Grill Emblem ???

Initially, I replaced the silver front grill RAM logo with the black ones on my '19 Rebel (blacked out the front skid plate too). I plasti-dipped the front tow hooks red, painted the calipers red and a few other areas touched up with red, not too much but just enough to add a little color without going too crazy with red. A friend suggested going red with the RAM grill logo. So I took the original silver logo, which I still had and dipped it in red. I still like the blacked out version but the red definitely stands out. I can always switch them out if I get tired of one or the other. They're pretty easy to replace once you get the original ones out (probably a minute or two to replace all 3 letters...the original ones aren't too bad to take out but you end up breaking the plastic tabs held by metal retaining friction clips, 2 per letter, which aren't really needed).

What do you guys think? BLACK or RED?

I think the front and the back “RAM” emblems should match. I really like the red, but it would drive me nuts if the front was red and the back was black lol

Go Red if you want it to stand out, me personally I like the more low key look so I went with black.

I really like all the red accents, it would look awesome on my bright white Rebel. I wish I would have seen your post before I installed my winter wheels, I actually applied a waxy rust protection to my callipers, It would have been a good time to paint my callipers red like you did. I find that the red callipers make it look like high performance!
My Rebel has the Ecodiesel badge on the hood, that name sounds wimpy in my opinion, Turbodiesel would have been more appropriate.

Are the red calipers noticeable? Does it stand out? Thinking about doing mine. I have a Laramie with Rebel wheels.

You can see mine here are yellow. He posted a picture above with his red calipers. It’s enough to standout, but not enough to look goofy

They are...they add a little sporty touch to them. They also protect them from rust and looking dull. I paint the calipers on all my vehicles. I usually paint them red and they DO stand out without being too tacky. I've also done black, which doesn't stand out as much but still looks good if you like the more subdued look. With the wheels back on, they add a little color without being too overbearing. Just do it. I highly recommend the G2 brand which is epoxy based and requires a little mixing. The paint can looks small but it's more than enough to do all 4 and I usually put on about 3 or 4 coats. Once mixed you have about a couple of hours before the paint starts to harden (have everything prepared before painting...I just go around in a circle with the calipers and after each round the next one should be ready for the next coat, etc.). I also use my own brush that you can get from Home Depot or hobby shops for a buck or two....the brush that comes with the kit sucks, the bristles constantly fall off and get into the paint can. Never had any issues with this brand like chipping, fading, etc. They also carry a lifetime warranty and have the highest temperature rating that I could find for caliper paint. Duplicolor caliper paint, which is ceramic based, tends to chip and peel off after about a year or so. I only use the G2 brand (they only have the brushed-on paint so far, no spray paint). No need to take off the calipers.

Attached are some during and after painting.

I may stick with this one (similar to the TRX concept). Just took the red dipped letters and placed a matter black overlay "RAM" decals on them. Now I have both Red and Black.

I love the blackout look. But I was looking to break it up a little. I like the look of the red on black, and kind of goes with the interior. I've got black and red rims with 35's in the garage. Waiting on my guy to install the 3.5 ready lift and slap them on.

I don’t like to stand out. So black would be my choice.
