I'll look today when i get off work and post a pic...it looks like a spoke cast wheel from maybe a mini van...lol

I had a flat on my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Black Appearance over the weekend and ended up putting on the spare. If you look at the image below (which isn't mine), you can see 4 marks on the tire where I believe the tire hits the underside of the truck bed. On my spare tire (which is a LT275/65R18 Falken Wildpeak AT3Wa) I have very similar abrasions on my spare that actually appear to have worn through part of the sidewall of the tire. Not great for only having 6k miles on the truck. Has anyone else seen this issue?

I just got a flat on my 2019 ram Limited, which came with the 22” wheel upgrade and a MSRP of $69k. It’s a 18” steel wheel that says “temporary spare”. I was surprised given my truck came with the ****ty $400 tow package

Would a 20 " spare even fit underneath without interference?

That sucks. My spare definitely doesn’t look like that. I have a different design aluminum spare.

Mine also has a 18” wheel, but is aluminum. Also, looks like maybe there is room for a full sized spare under there, but I have no plans on trying it, although my tires are 22".

I just had to change as well on my 1500 Bighorn. The spare is 18" and had those same marks rubbing through the sidewall. Had me a little sketched out since I was towing, but I made it 130miles back.

I put the full size back up in the spare tire cave and it does fit.

Unfortunate because I told the dealer I tow a lot of boats and need a full size spare. Their definition is a little loose I think... Sticker didn't list a size just Full Size Spare. I didn't think to look in the door...

I'm going to buy a full size spare now.

The issue is here !! When you spend $4,000 for the package that upgrades ALL your tires to 22' and they say they are giving you a 20" spare because of the upgrade but they give you a 18" spare, that is a big difference from a 22" tire that the 4 tires are on the car !!!!

WOW !!!!! Looks like they finally took out the 20" Full size spare tire with the package !!!! Guess there realized there mistake.
Damn man, calm down with the exclamation points. Do you really have nothing else going on in life that the spare tire requires this much effort? Class action lawsuit?! SMH...
