Black appearance package incorrect spare tire given !!!

Laramie with Off-road Group came with a full size spare - 20” wheels with 20” spare
if its a 'not temporary' 20" tire, would love to see a pic of that...
I have a Laramie with the off road group. I'll try to remember to check mine when I get home tonight, and take a pic if it's got a 20" spare.

Well I have a 18inch wheel .it is a full size tire that matches what's on the truck but I do have 20s on the truck. I have a 2019 bighorn level 2 black appearance package and its offroad heres epic but it isnt the best as its dirty front them road salt.

If you copy and paste the link below, and add your full VIN at the end (after "vin="), it'll provide you with the build list for your truck. It lists everything that your truck should have (both standard and optional equipment).

Once on the page, hit Control+F (Command+F on Macs) and you'll be able to search for certain words. Search "Spare." For instance on my build sheet I got two results for this search, "Full Size Temporary Use Spare Tire" and "17-inch Steel Spare Wheel" (mind you I have a 4th gen ram).

^^^. Yes sir as I was like this crap will never happen on my watch again lol.

Punching in my VIN from the link above, I searched and got;

"Full Size Temporary Use Spare Tire"

So, that doesn't tell me much...I need to look at my window sticker also, but I assume it is an 18" spare.

To follow up on checking mine, it's full sized, mounted on an 18 inch aluminum wheel. At least it's not a temporary use tire.

I think that's the best anyone has gotten...

Saying Full Size when it's different than the other four tires is a bit disingenuous. My 2020 Limited sticker says it comes with an 18" Aluminum spare wheel (I assume they put a tire on it, I better check). It has 20" alloy tires with 270/55R20 on the main four.

I take full size means you don’t get a donut sized temporary spare. I would expect it to say matching full size spare if it were going to be exactly the same.

II know that's what they claim it means. But really all it means is "bigger than we might have stuck you with." I guess it's better than my Volt which comes with an air compressor and can of fix of flat rather than any sort of spare. I now have a "full size" spare in it (same wheel and tire as on the other four).

Hope this helps, i just did a VIN check on mine. This was order just 3 weeks ago 2020 rebel with the black apperance package. and it shows 18" for the spare.

The issue is here !! When you spend $4,000 for the package that upgrades ALL your tires to 22' and they say they are giving you a 20" spare because of the upgrade but they give you a 18" spare, that is a big difference from a 22" tire that the 4 tires are on the car !!!!

As long as the overall diameter of the spare tire is matching the 22's, what's the big deal? Regardless what the diameter of the wheel, it isn't going to match the 22's. I haven't even bothered to look at mine in a year and a half, other than to see the spare is there.

My take..... "Who cares?" Regardless, it'll be temporary as it won't match the original rims either way. As long as it's close in overall diameter and it clears the disc brakes that's all that matters.
Did you buy the black appearance package also? for $3,999? What did you get as a spare?

I have a standard Limited with 22's . I did peek under and I have an 18'' aluminum spare. The tire has a lot of sidewall so I'm sure it would be fine for use if I had a catastrophic tire failure. Punctures I fix myself on the truck with my plug kit and air compressor I carry.
