BILSTEIN 6112 ✔

The 6112 uses Eibach springs relabeled as Bilsteins. Im wondering if anyone has used the Eibach rear springs with the 5160s yet

Ah ok. Well, that's good. At first I thought they were complete bolt in like other brands.... then somehow I got the idea they were just bare shocks like the 5100. lol never assume
Seems odd they don't just mark them up $50-100 a set and include a top mount so it's a complete replacement unit, even if they come unassembled so you can choose your "lift"

Anyone plan to build these into a full coilover instead of re-using your existing springs, etc? Just throwing that out there because I have not looked into what exactly is needed and what it would cost. I'm leaning toward an Icon kit... so I'm curious how this would compare in quality and ride performance.

If I go this route, I will order the top hats to build as full coil over assemblies. On my Tacoma, the cost was around $60 for a pair of top hats and labor to compress the springs and build the coil over from the companies who offered the service. So total was $795 for the pair of coil overs, and you can easily find 10% off that price.

I will assemble on my own as needed, but my goal would be to selling my 5100s as a completed coil over assembly to recoup some cost towards the 6112s
