Biggest Tires for 3.21 gearing

from what I gather anything over 2 in and you start losing a lot of that stock shock travel. also something I didn't think about, now that I put the 2in lift on and 35 inch tires, I only got about 2 inch clearance going into my garage!
This is what I worry about hitting top of garage entrance... I want the 3.5 inch lift tho lol I guess I’ll goo level 2in.. how’s width of tires

Thanks. That's why I haven't pulled the trigger on it, worried about the angles on anything above 2 inches. May play it safe and go with a 2inch and 34's.

Finally got my truck back today from the body shop from where the deer hit it and it looks like new. Very happy with the shop. I have been searching so many forums and changing my mind about every other day on what I want. I do have the Readylift 3.5 which will be installed this coming Friday. I have called multiple places like Readylift and Customoffsets and haven't gotten a completely straight answer on my question. I pretty sure that I am going to go with 35/12.50 instead of 33/12.50. I don't tow with this truck and never go offroading. I know I may lose power from getting the bigger tires but have fallen in love with the 35s. My question is will 35/12.50 with a 20x10 -18 offset fit the 3.5 lift. I am trying to stay away from spacers if I can. I don't mind minor trimming or changing offsets and would prefer no rub. Readylift said they can't guarantee other than 35/12.50 on 20x9 with a 0 offset because that is all they have tested. Customoffsets said that it should work with minor trimming but I would like to get someones opinion that actually may have that setup. Any help would be great because I need to order tires/wheels in the next couple of days.

Anyone ever run taller and skinny tiers, like the pizza cutters the jeep guys run at times? Something like a 33x10.5 or 34x10.5?

I ran 275/65r20 on my last truck and this one for a bit with the 3.21 gears. They’re 34” tall and just under 11” wide. No problems at all. Ran them on my 2013 for 2 or 3 years. Ran them for about 6 months on my 2019. Only swapped out because I bought fender flares and wanted to widen my stance with some more offset wheels.

Amy chance you did this on stock height? Ie no lift at all (no off road group or north edition, etc)

I had my 19 at stock height for about a week with those tires on. I put my leveling kit on shortly after. I didn’t experience any rub at all even before the leveling kit. I did have aftermarket wheels but they were only +10 offset compared to the +19 offset of the factory wheels. Not enough to make a difference.

Thanks. I'd probably consider something like 270/60r20 or something in the 265 width. Not sure if that's too skinny.

So I'm guessing the wildpeak at3w in 275/60 which is 33x10.8 should be fine stock height and stock 20" wheels then?

Won’t be any problem at all.

I have 3.21 gears. Running 33x11.5x20 LT rated tires so they're heavier as well. No issues with my truck hunting for gears or anything.

Which tires do you have? I'm considering a smaller tire, but LT, so still heavy.

I have nitro ridge grapplers. They have been fantastic to this point for me. Also very quiet for an AT tire. 55AA0BC0-A912-4C07-AE4E-D14E6D46BE7B.jpeg

z0n3 - I am in the market for some wheels/tires for my 19 Ram and ran across your pics. Yours is setup exactly like I am looking for. I like how you put all your specs in your signature. Nice looking Ram!!!

35x11.5 fit just fine
With 2in level
+1 offset
With 3.21 seems a little slower off the line, maybe more than a little...
Does it sit flush with the fender or stick out ?
