I did, you just ignore them.
No, I'm ignoring you because you're not arguing the facts you're trying to make things personal.

I say don't over think it. Use what you feel comfortable with. I use 5w-30 in all my cars that ask for 5w-20. But honestly, as long as you change the oil at the correct intervals you will be fine. And there is nothing wrong with following the recommended 5w-20 if that's what keeps things in your comfort zone. Also, if they put in semi synthetic oil, I wouldn't sweat about that either. Years ago with my first 4th gen 1500 with the same 5.7 hemi available today, the dealer would use dino oil. I never had issues with that truck either.Today I had my oil changed, at the dealer, for my "Love Machine" RAM 1500 with the 5.7 hemi. When I was all done service advisor at first told me they put in a semi-synthetic then quickly said, oh they have a different gun back there so you did get the Full Synthetic oil. But I wonder......... so I think I'm going to change my oil somewhere different next time, and I thought if it does have semi-synthetic, then why not change oil at let's say every 4,000 miles. That would be a good idea regardless of what oil goes in, right? My 2021 RAM calls for 5-20 grade oil and after reading everybody's thoughts, I really don't know what to think. My mileage is only 60,000 right now and I've got the low gear ratio so I'm getting higher RPMs then the normal RAM driver with the "normal" rear end. I live in Colorado, so yeah it gets cold in the winter but I also take long trips to Oklahoma and Texas on business. I'm still thinking go with 5-20 but what are your thoughts for my situation? Thank guys, and I'm brand new here on the forum.
Honestly I have never had a tick in my 22, 5.7L, and I use 0-20 Napa brand full synthetic. Is there a generally regarded "best" oil for the 5.7 engines? I know for Audi you should run (not walk) from what the dealer's use and only ever use Motul 8100, amazing oil that's also cheaper than the more well marketed brands. Anyways, any pro star hemi heads out there that swear by a particular brand and grade of oil? I heard going thicker viscosity is the answer, but I really don't agree with that. Don't you just want a "better" oil that's the right grade that Ram says to use so that it can get up into the roller pins?
