Beer - what are you drinking / brewing thread

Horchata Ale from chicago at local Crescent Moon Ale House. Also having a Reuben sammich. This is the place in Omaha across the street from where the Reuben was supposedly created using the original recipe.PXL_20240406_001657264.jpgPXL_20240406_001653594.jpg

Kind of a cool piece of history. But Horchata in my beer? Ima have to think about that one.

Best Reubens around. They have a Reubenfest every winter with daily specials and different takes on Reubens. They have Reuben egg rolls on the regular menu now, but they started as only being available during Reubenfest.

Sounds so good.

My wife and went to lunch and I had one I’ve never tried before, Trappistes Rochefort 8. I really didn’t like this, so then switched over to a Hoegaarden Wit/Blanch.

For some reason, when I tried to add the photos I got an error message that the “uploaded image is too big”, but I didn’t do anything different than I’ve done many times before. I posted the same pictures on “Untapped” app, took a screenshot and then uploaded those. Weird.

Had a Dragon Milk bourbon barrel aged stout before dinner. Loved it.

Hoegaarden is on of my all-time favorites :) Hard to find around here, have to special order it and it doesn't always come in :(

Trying a new one tonight. This is an Iowa brewery. I like their Blonde Fatale beer. This is basically the Blonde Fatale with light strawberry flavor. PXL_20240509_005603176.jpg

Imported Kolsch from Germany in a big can, little keg whatever you want to call it PXL_20240612_001211198.jpg

Trying something new tonight. And boy is it good. Not usually a fan on sours, but this is pretty damn good. Not a strong sour flavor, it what you'd expect from rhubarb. PXL_20240729_015342232.MP.jpg
