Oh, wow, thanks for reaching out to them. Their answer makes sense too. I may just be stuck waiting to see if anyone makes more options for rambox trucks.

I am going all in with Dethloff. Gave a deposit for the new build (6-8 weeks). He says it is similar to what is seen on their website which features a Rebel, but the new rack will have some different contours along the rear window.
No pics to share as yet. Will fit RamBoxes with MFT.

It's a bit pricey, but Nutzo rack might work better, it doesn't require drilling.
And, you can get OEM cross bars for the utility rail if you have.
I bought the Mopar OEM cross bars, much cheaper option.

Nice work! How did you attach it?
The rack sits on some flat plates that sit right on the bedside. Welded to the flat plate (at ~90 degrees) is 1/8" flat bar. The flat bar is sandwiched between the utility group rails (which the tonneau mounts to) and the bed side. The flat bar has holes drilled to match the utility group rails bolt holes. Spacing the utility rails in 1/8" on each side doesn't impact operation of the tonneau.

I built my rack out of 2" square tubing. It bolts to each corner by removing the plastic caps at each corner and utilizing existing factory holes. Allows full use of the ramboxes and a backflip mx4 cover.
Would it be possible to get a couple of close up pics of the mounting plates? Have 2019 rambox and was thinking of having something fabricated, thx

I’ll upload pics later but wanted to share this with the group.

I just finished the install of Rhinorack Pioneer platform to create a custom bed rack.

Vehicle:
2020 Rebel with Rambox and the OEM bed utility track system.

The Rhinorack:
“In bed” rack using a Pioneer tray (52x56), RLT600 legs, and Pioneer height spacers.

First, the legs fit great onto to the top of the trucks OEM utility track. It did require grinding the width of track nuts down by 1/16” to fit into the utility track, which was easy enough, and you can find smaller track nuts if needed.

Second, the Pioneer tray at 56” is a bit wider than I wanted as it does interfere slightly with the full opening of the Rambox, but they open plenty enough to access them. A more narrow tray option of 52” wide would be ideal.

Lastly, a Pioneer height spacer of 10mm is needed (edit: go for the 25mm spacers QMHD25. RamBox will open better). I used the 5mm height spacer and it was difficult to get the leg covers back on due to the tight space between the bottom of the Pioneer tray and top of the Rambox. But I was able to get it on with a bit of muscle work.

So a more narrow platform and larger height spacer would allow the Rambox to open fully or near fully.

Anyway, I now have a useable and good looking bed rack platform for my tent and other stuff. Will post more pics later.

Anyway of getting the plans off you so i can make one for my Power Wagon? have a MX4 Backflip and would like to be able to continue using it
Don't have any plans as I just built it by measuring on the truck, then cutting and welding as I went. I will gladly send you pictures or take measurements of anything you'd like. FYI-I've used it a couple times now with my roof top tent and it's worked great. It's plenty sturdy, I have access to the RAMBOX's and the backflip cover. I'm also able to put it on and take it off by myself.

I ended up using some Yakima control towers mounted on the utility rails. I ran that with my roof top tent for a year and a half. Worked out great! But I was limited to the height space in the bed. I recently sold my RTT and am shopping for a hard shell, so I decided I take this opportunity to figure out how to build a taller rack. I want to go the same route as others with having a plate rest on the bed top rails and a long tube running across the top of the utility rail. I have not had a chance to think too much about it, though.

I really like the simplicity of the Front Runner rail mount racks, but I wish they had a bit taller legs!

I would like to see how you made the mounts connections. My dimensions will be different since i have a 6.5ft bed. But i like to have some ideas on what size tube and general mesurements. i will have to adjust them.

Does anyone know whether the Dethloff rack/bars accommodate a Yakima skybox? In other words, what is the diameter of the tubes versus the "claw" capacity of the skybox? Also, how difficult is it to install the Dethloff rack?
