Hello has anyone purchased the black tips from B2 fabrication? If so is anyone having bubbling and rust issues with them?

This doesn't sound good. I assume you are experiencing some issues?

Correct me if I'm wrong but, It seems like at one time B2 Fab was a favorite among those on here. I'm new but in a matter of a month the number of posts regarding quality issues have been numerous. From rusting tips, to poor welds.

They are not powder coated, they are supposed to be black ceramic coated. As was pointed out to me a few months ago, powder coating will not stand up to heat. Apparently what they are using doesn't stand up too well either :ROFLMAO:

I'd contact @B2 Fabrication. They are an authorized site vendor here on this forum. I'm sure they'll stand behind their product.

Powder coating will indeed take significant heat, I had my calipers re-powder coated last year. This car is raced in high speed runway events and calipers still look brand new. The exhaust tips dont get that hot anyway

I just installed my black tips yesterday....Hopefully they don't bubble! 😬

Just wanted to give a update on the B2 fabrication tips. I contacted Matt the owner and he was very prompt returning my email and seemed very concerned. I promptly received a new set with a label to return the blistering ones. Yesterday I put them on a drove approx 30 miles this afternoon I noticed that the new ones are doing the same thing they have been on the truck a little more than 24 hours. Obviously they are having some kind of issue coating these. I have sent Matt a email with pics of the replacement tips. I will keep y’all updated, pics are the brand new replacement tips.

How are your black tips holding up? My replacements started peeling off in less than 24 hours.
