B2 fabrication rusting tips

Oh wow!!!

Ya not good, definitely a problem with preparation. It should have a chemical bath to remove all impurities before paint. Not sure how they prep. Waiting on response email from Matt at b2 fabrication

I emailed Matt twice since last Wednesday still waiting for him to respond. These are supposed to be ceramic coated I’m not sure. Hopefully he can get it worked out. I’m 2 sets in since January. The replacements I received were worse than the first set. No what I expected considering all the good reviews this business has. I am happy though with the oval muffler and the resonator delete nice deep growl!!

Damn, this sucks! I was really wanting to pull the trigger on the Res delete kit with the Black tips. You get a better price by bundling them.

Keep in mind they fit and look great. But somethings up with paint prep for sure.
Waiting on solution.

Matt has contacted me promptly and is addressing the issue at the powder coaters now. He does not want to send new tips until issue is resolved.
Thanks Matt :)

Great customer service from b2 fabrications. He’s refunding me the cost of the tips and I’m keeping them to get repainted myself. He’s got issues with his powder coater and is looking elsewhere, it’s not Matts fault. The product they supply are great quality aside from that. Thanks so much Matt

Absolutely, problems are bound to occur!

Is that like a ceramic coat? I wonder if my ceramic guy will do mine?

No not ceramic coat, it’s basically high temp paint used for firearms and things.
It’s called cerakote, it’s a wet ceramic paint not like powder coat. I went to get them powder coated and the guy said it’s only good up to 180 degrees and recommended cerakote. Now I’m trying to find a place that does it...
