Tried searching but no luck, seems noone has had to replace their front axle other than warranty fixes.

2019 Ram Rebel, 55k miles, 5.7, 2.5 level, 35x12 tires.

Seems that my axle boot gave out and slinged the grease everywhere and now I have your usual axle clunks.

Did a google search for axles and tons of results, anybody got any advice as to where to purchase from? Normally I'd just go Autozone but they don't seem to have the axle itself.

Any tips? I've done axles before so not a complete newb to it but tips never hurt.

Also, I saw online something about the a smaller axle piece? Picture attached. This piece I am not familiar with but based on my pictures, I don't think that's bad and I'm pretty sure just the axle needs to be replaced.

My passenger side did the same thing. The boot still looks fine, band clamp is tight. I cleaned all the grease up and hasn't flung anymore. Drivers side has a small amount of grease flung, but not as much as the passenger side did, and that's been since i first noticed the passenger side. No weird noises, still drives fine. I do have some chirping when applying the brakes. But wouldnt associate that with CV joint.

Thanks for the links! I couldn't find anything on YouTube and the trakmotive site wasn't loading for me!
