Autostart in Phone App

Curious if anyone else has the same issues with the UConnect phone app not working. I find it impossible to start the truck and all other functions take forever to complete. For a truck so advanced, the U-Connect phone app is primitive compared to my 2016 GMC that I had previously.

My functions work but it takes awhile for the command to process, get sent, then happen. Takes 1-2 minutes for any of the functions when I press the "button" on my screen and it actually happens.

Yeah, my friend's GMC shows much more info (like brake pad life, tire pressure, etc.) and seems to work much faster/more consistently.

When I try to use the app for remote start, half the time it fails, the other half it takes a full minute or so to actually send the start signal.

Mine was the same way, commands either took a long time ( 5 minutes or more ) or didn't work at all. I can't see myself paying $17 a month for that service. $5-10 maybe but that's pushing it.

GM was free. Would never pay for this set up. Never works for me

Same here. I tried to do a remote unlock a few days ago but no luck. Over 5 minutes passed and nothing happened. I wouldn't pay a nickle a month for this feature.

It's a Sirius XM Guardian, not Uconnect unfortunately. Big steps backwards from the Uconnect app and truck features.

Same here. I tried to do a remote unlock a few days ago but no luck. Over 5 minutes passed and nothing happened. I wouldn't pay a nickle a month for this feature.

I to am having the problem. the guardian app simply does not work. will not start the car at all . i have had the app on 2 different iphones. Im starting to think the truck goes into sleep mode and will not respond to the app requests

Just add the Ram Skill to your Alexa. You also need to provide your password every time but it’s worked flawlessly for me and takes about 45s vs 40s using the Uconnect app on my phone.

It sure would be. FCM should get an app developer with a clue. Why on earth do I need to be tethered to the phone if the watch has wifi and cell data connectivity?

Even if it actually worked, there's no way I'm paying for it. I've given up and uninstalled the app

Hard to believe anyone would pay to install a government spying device in your home.

My UConnect app doesn’t show any vehicles stats. Just the button to control the locks and starter. Is everyone’s like this?

Also I sent the developers a feedback email about 2 weeks ago, so they can open up the app to Siri Shortcuts. With ios13 it would be cool to just tell siri on your phone to start your truck and the app opens and sends the commands.
