Are there no bed covers made for a 2022 1500 Limited with ramboxes and mft?

To replace the black rails that you have with Silver Rails to be able to use the Gator you'll need part#'s 68027048AD & 68027049AD. It's a pretty quick and straight forward swap.

The issue here is you have Black Rails, 99.9% of tonneau covers only will work with Silver Rails. Unfortunately Gator just calls them "Standard Rails" in their description as the majority of Ram Box trucks do have the Silver Rails instead of the black one.

This is what the Silver Rails look like:

Was just going to go looking for you to see if you sold them. I see them online but they don't come with any hardware it seems so I have no idea what else I would need to buy like if I need weatherstripping (black rails has a seal behind it).
It does seem that 99.9% of covers can't fit on my truck which is pretty dumb, but to be fair I don't know how I could have anything fit on these rails unless it was a cover that could only mount to it and therefore have a stupidly small market I guess.

I also see a part number called DTRAILKIT which has both and appears to be cheaper then buying both sides separately.
Are any of these items you are able to resell?

^^This. There are two versions of utility rails. If you get the factory bed cover, it comes with the black rails which sit higher on the bed sides. There are very few bed covers which will work with these rails. You just need to swap to the silver rails. I was already aware of this issue when I bought my truck (thanks to this forum), and was able to negotiate replacement rails as part of the sale. Another thing to note is that the MFT doesn't make any difference if you have a rambox. There is not extra bracing required, like there is in the non-rambox beds.

How did you install it to the rails? Can you take a picture?
I looked at the instructions and nothing in the instructions manual matches my 2022 ram limited with ramboxes and mft

There is a different version for the "new body style" that slides on your bed rail . Here is the supplimental instruction for this version. https://bakindustries.com/images/2019_Ram_Box_Rail_Install_Supplement_318B0028_10.1.18.pdf
That will not fit my truck.
Thanks for the pictures. Your truck came with different rails then mine, so that would not fit mine

The Extang cover has a rail that fits in the existing factory installed rail (silver) with the bed utility group. This is what is on my 22 Limited https://extang.com/xceed/2022/ram/1500
See comments above, the factory installed rails on my truck are black so I need to buy new rails I am unable to install of the listed covers so far without replacing existing factory installed hardware :(

Got this response from the dealership
"HE CAN CHANGE OUT THE RAILS AND INSTALL ANY RAM BOX BED COVER HE WANTS. THE PART NUMBERS HE PROVIDED ARE THE CORRECT PARTS HE NEEDS."

These are the part numbers I sent them asking what other customers did when they found out rails would not fit.
68027049AD
68027048AD

So yeah I guess if your truck comes with the soft cover, make sure to refuse it and have them put on the regular rails like 99% of the other Rams out there.

Well, I'm glad you posted this because I take delivery of mine (limited night edition with factory cover and no silver rails) soon and I wanted the Bakflip. Now I know what I must purchase before it gets here. lol

Don't be like me. LOL.

I swapped the black rails with the silver rails and installed my retrax with no issues. I also installed some foam weatherstripping in the gap between the tailgate and bed.

Could you send me the link to whatever weatherstipping you used?
Did you need to buy new push clips?

Make sure to check you can order it.
It's back ordered from the factory, I was only able to find 1 dealership within 50 miles that had ONE of each in stock, they also wanted $450, but I was able to convince them to go to $330. Very rare thing around here to get a dealership to budge in price on ANYTHING.

I just took delivery of a Limited with Rambox and the MFT without the factory tonneau cover. I had the Bed Utillity Group via the 10th anniversary package. My cargo rails are silver not black. I installed a BAK Revolver X4S hard rollup cover. Fit perfectly and installed in about 45-50 minutes. MFT works seemlessly with cover open or closed. If you want to see how it mounts to the bed rails, I can upload more pictures tomorrow.

Makes me glad I did NOT get the ram boxes for my limited. I got my Retrax PowertraxPro XR and its been working amazing. Hope you find one that works with your Bed rails

You just need to swap to silver rails that 99% of the covers require that’s it. Well that and probably go ahead and get a pair of the right on brackets. It’s annoying but not the end of the world just gonna take a little more cash.

Lucky the 10th anniversary package doesn't force the soft cover on you.
The night edition package forces the cover and gives you the dumb rails.
If you want to make it more water tight i'm told this works good https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L21DGNB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Right on brackets?
I think you're confused with a different build, Ramboxes don't use brackets.
