been trying to come up with a fix for the smushy good year's they put on the stock limited 22s and just no happy with the 22 inch option that isn't 10 ply.
was looking into putting a stock 20 or 18 inch set on, and thought the rebel rim's might look good on the limited.

any experience with that experiment?

I was thinking getting winter tires and rims and thought the Rebel 18” would be a good option. I’ve read elsewhere that the 18” rebel wheel fits.

I’m pretty sure this has been done but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. The rim won’t be your issue but will have to be paired with a tire that will be within specs.

Just did this today. Runs perfect. Tires do not run at all, and are at 50psi. Only drove home with them, but pretty similar mpg to the 22's that came off of it. They're for sale, btw.

I think there are quite a few post showing those off, seems to be no issue especially if your truck had stock 22". The Rebel is only 1 inch higher, I think most of that comes from the 33" tires based on my measurements.

Here is a set on a Big Horn, should be similar: https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/rebel-wheels-on-a-19-bighorn.14212/#post-196091

Just put Rebel rims and tires on my four-corner air Limited today... No rubbing at all. Slightly worse mpg, but the ride is still excellent, even with 50psi. I might try 60psi.

I just put Rebel tires and wheels on my sport and the TPMS system won’t calibrate. I’m getting a warning. Has anyone experienced this ? My truck had the 22” wheel option and no air suspension.

Are you sure that the Rebel wheels have the tpms installed? I had to swap mine over from my 22's to the Rebel wheels, as the original Rebel owner removed them to put them on his new wheels.

Bit of a necro here, but thanks to this post (and others) I made the switch from the 22's my Limited came with to the Rebel wheels and tires. Haven't fully tested for rubbing yet, and will probably see about leveling (not sure how it is done with the air suspension). Will be selling the 22's.

My son is happy

dv8er, what will you be asking for the stock
rims? I am interested.

Everyone still happy going from the stock 22 on limited to rebel wheels? Problems with speedo or air ride?

Thinking of doing this to my Limited. Can the speedo be re-calibrated?

So did you notice any rubbing? Really considering doing this.

Shameless plug - I have a set of basically brand new rebel wheels for sale. Took them off at 1500 miles. Wheels only. No tires or TPMS. Perfect upgrade!

Took the plunge as well. The Duratracs are definitely louder but very noticeably firmer in the turns, truck feels glued to the ground. More than happy with them.

MetalDog are you riding on air? I have a Rebel with no air and wanted to go LT295/70 but didn’t know if it would work I don’t want to mess with the suspension.
