anyone put the rebel rim on a Limited?

Ok so after much consideration I went with the Rebel wheels. The tires are oem and I will prob switch those out to the nitto g2 when its needed. But for now I'm happy. This is my Sport Laramie with 2" Mopar lift and Rebel stock wheels.

How? I just tried to put factory night edition rebel wheels on my 2019 laramie that has 22s. Balance weights hit caliper. Once those got knocked of the clearance was way to close. Caliper is just to big. Would have to use a hub centric spacer to get the clearance to run them. Looked good tho, but cant run them like this. Way to close

Have you mounted the Rebel wheels yet? It seems that's just the way they fit.

Yes but I had to put 1-1/2" wheel spacer to get 18" rebel rims to clear caliper

I put Rebel wheels on my Laramie without adding spacers.

Bolted right on, no problem.

My Laramie had 22s and the Rebel 18s just were way to close to the caliper, only about 1/8" space. Actually the wheel wouldn't turn as caliper hit the thin wheel weights. Once those got knocked off the wheel spun but still WAY to close to caliper for my liking. On now with a spacer tho

Yes the clearance is very close, but they do clear. You don't need a spacer either. I've been running Rebel wheels for at least a year now without spacers. And yes, the clearance probably is about 1/8" or less but there is room.

I had 1 wheel that the weights were hitting the caliper (passenger front, but I doubt that mattered). I took the wheel off and realigned the weights. Problem solved.
It's close but they fit.

The red line on the photo below is where the weights were installed by the tire shop, and making contact with the caliper. I moved them so they're in-line with the wheel now rather than slightly angled, and there is no contact.

Ok. Yes that looks as close as mine was. I just didn't know if I could run them that close so since I had the spacers I put them. Like the look with wheels out just a bit too so all good. Good to know you can run them with no issues even that close to caliper, in case i decide to remove spacers at some point.

I picked up new '22 night edition Rebel take-offs for my '22 night edition big horn.
They don't have tires on them yet, so I only tested mounted one wheel and had about the same clearance you guys have, ~ 1/8". That's just the way Ram designed it. I don't plan on installing any wheel spacers.

When my Hankook AT2 Xtremes (295/70) show up, I'll be sure to tell my installer about the limited clearance in there.
 
That's a good idea, that way they can mount the weights with that in mind.
 
Well, after buying powdercoated Rebel wheels last year, I finally got them installed with BFG K02 in 275/70 R18 (standard size for Rebel). Looks great to me, I don't really need anything bigger.

Despite me warning them about tight tolerances with wheel weights, one front wheel was catching, but they fixed that in a few minutes after I returned.

Tires were inflated to 37, and after using the online calculator, that seems to be the correct PSI, even though Rebel door sticker list a much higher setting (55/45). Still contemplating which I should follow.

When I switched my tires to the BFG K02 - 275/70 R18, I settled on 50 PSI in the front and 45 in the rear.
 
Never change equipment just before a trip...

We went on a long road trip a few days after mounting the wheels and tires. Somehow, one of the rear wheels developed a leak during the trip. Turned out to be a hairline crack in the wheel barrel. Not being able to source a replacement at short notice during the trip, we decided to buy a new set of wheels instead.

Fuel Rebels. Look good, have a little more offset than OEM Rebel wheels, so show slightly outside wheel well.

P.S. For Sale: three perfectly fine OEM Rebel wheels, powdercoated Satin Black. On truck less than 600 miles.
 
been trying to come up with a fix for the smushy good year's they put on the stock limited 22s and just no happy with the 22 inch option that isn't 10 ply.
was looking into putting a stock 20 or 18 inch set on, and thought the rebel rim's might look good on the limited.

any experience with that experiment?
Not me personally as I have a Reb. But my buddy with a limited longhorn used a set of Reb take offs with dedicated snows for winters. No issues at all.
