What street bikes have you owned? The Harley is a great looking bike. How is the ride? Have a few 70 Triumphs that need to go back on the road. The Triumph was what I learned to ride on close to 50 years ago, last time I was on it was 16 years ago, still a great bike.been riding 50 yrs, started off road, trees don't move .... 20 yrs later, i don't heal as fast, moved to street bikes, used to take "circle the great lakes run" each summer or just ride around canada for a few weeks ... quit riding for 5 yrs ... here is my latest bike .... 97 FLSTSView attachment 55356
well, first street bike was 68 Honda 175cl, next 88 Yamaha 750 Virago, then 78 FLH (75 anniv) 25k miles, the 89FLHS 80K miles, the 2005 Honda 750 Aero, the 07 Honda 750 Aero ... quite riding for around 5 yrs and now have the 97 FXSTS ... wife also rides and has had similar bikes .. dirt bikes are way too many to list .. when i got back to street riding this past yr, i wanted a springer soft tail and i wanted a blockhead (Evo), i work on my own stuff, so i wanted a carb, found this bike with only 10K on odometer and ALL stock perfect shape.... i love the ride, sits low, light weight and responds to my every moveWhat street bikes have you owned? Okay - I'll bite...
2010 Night Rod - insanely custom with mostly 1-off's of my design. Don't really ride it anymore, not sure why I keep it. Worth more in parts, than sold complete - too lazy to part it out (or part WITH IT).

Current toy - also dumb amounts of $$ that I'll never recoup. Rotrex blower, headers, exhaust, stereo stuff, etc, etc, etc...

twins!Even though I worked for Indian/Victory for a few years, at the time they didn't make a bike that I wanted long-term. Not quite ready for a cruiser/tourer. This is my 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer. Fun to rip but comfortable enough to eat up some miles. View attachment 36370
