Live Brooklyn NY The worst mayor ever continues to install these damn cameras everywhere. License plate covers are illegal since all bridges and tunnel tolls are fully autonomous., and risky to use them.
In NY they shut off the ability to add cameras.... I used that all the time.Just was looking at google and it appears that the WAZE navigation app you can turn on camera notification and also add places where there are cameras.. that way you get notified and alot cheaper than a valentine radar detector
I completely agree.. I've gotten 3 in Houston, at the exact same red light.. Turning right on red between midnight and 5 am on my way home from work each time.. I've seen the videos... I pull up, come to a complete stop, wait about 2 seconds then turn right.. Apparently 2 seconds isn't enough time before turning..I never run a light yellow or otherwise. Its the cameras that pop up out of nowhere. They literally just installed 4 in the last week. All it does is cause traffic. Anyone living in a densely populated area would understand. Just frustrating since it creates more traffic. And the "reason" behind it is not safety. JUST ANOTHER TAX.
Worth a try. Let me know if it works well.

In NYC laying off the gas pedal is not enough. Second revenue generating camera in NYC is located on the service road shortly after exiting the Staten Island Expressway (misnomer) at South Ave. exit. If you "lay off gas pedal" without"hitting brake pedal" you will be over the speed limit at the camera.Lay off gas pedal??

Speed limit 25 mph, ticket 10 mph above speed limit. Pre mayor deblasio 30 mph unposted speed limit. By the time he is out of office there will be no 2 or 3 lane highways for cars (will be bus lanes). You must drive at night to go faster than 15 to 20 mph in NYC.You are wise behind you years. Not about speeding its about going more than 25 on a 2 or 3 lane main road.
I know that one well. My father lives nearby. I grew up in mariners harbor. Off the belt pkwy there was one put in place after the offramp just before Coney Island Ave. It was in such a bad location there was a lawsuit against the city, and they had to move it. Getting off people started slamming on brakes to go from hywy speeds to 25, immediately. It was crazy. I got a speed camera ticket for 36, 1 mile over by a roaming speed camera van. It's really out of control. In NYC laying off the gas pedal is not enough. I believe those are illegal. Someone was just on news who used one and got pulled over using one. At least in a Texas that is.
