Hey Folks. Still loving my new Ram after ~ 2 months. The only thing I'm not loving is multiple trips (4 and counting) to Service to get Blind Spot / Cross Path functional. It's done nothing since I bought the truck, other than show this on my cluster; pic attached. Ironically it's the one feature I didn't really want, so now the truck is rubbing my nose in it ;-)

Anyone else have this issue - Or better yet, know what it took to fix it? Dealer has replaced a number of things, and it still won't establish communications. I'm going back for visit #5 when I'm back in town, will get a loaner and leave my truck with them until it's finally resolved. Seems fair to me. They're plenty pleasant, but eats a lot of time going back and forth.

Hi Gen3CoupeTX,
We are sorry to hear that your concern has not yet met a resolution. If you would like some additional assistance on this trip to the dealer, please send us a private message and we would be happy to escalate a case for you!

Hi Alex, thanks for the reply. I wasn't expecting that, but it is appreciated. I have an appointment on Monday morning, May 6th. The dealer (not where I bought the truck) will provide a courtesy vehicle, keep my truck as long as it takes. I'm obviously hoping it's not a long time, but that's preferred to going back and forth on the rare weeks I'm not traveling for work. I'll let you know! Thanks again, Mike M

Update on this > 5th time was a charm! My local Service department rang me to say the Blind Spot / Cross Path was now working ... For the first time since I bought the truck new (at a different dealership). It turns out somewhere along the line, before I bought it new with 12 miles on it, the passenger taillight was swapped. Not only was it missing the module for communications, it didn't have the slot for it. Different parts.

They ordered a new LED taillight assembly with the module, all good now. They first rang to ask if I knew anything about the taillight being swapped out. Nope, and selling dealership didn't bring it up if they knew. It seems they have to take it up with Chrysler to figure out who is responsible for the work. All I know is who isn't going to pay ... This guy! I just want the options on my new truck to work. I'm picky like that ;-)

I just got this warning the other day...I was hoping it would resolve itself, but no dice. Mine worked fine and then all of the sudden It didn't. Service scheduled in a couple weeks. At least I can get those recalls taken care of as well. Love my truck though!

If you end up going into your dealer to get this inspected and need an added layer of assistance, our team is available via direct message.
