Anybody Park In a Normal Size Garage?

I’ll stop b!tchin about my 7’ garage door now ….

My '15 Big Horn CC fits under the 30 year old wood door with enough space.....and front to back with a shelving unit leaves about 3" at the front and 3" at the back.

The problem is the width....it's a typical townhouse 2 car garage, with a '22 Rebel arriving next month, the 2 trucks won't fit in side by side. The mirrors will hit. Backing one in isn't an option....my wife can't park her CX-5 Mazda straight on her side as it is now. :ROFLMAO:

It's fine though.....I'm good with not parking it in the garage. Benefits of So. Cal. weather.

Parking in a garage is as much about security as it is keeping it out of the elements. I normally park in my garage, but one night I was house sitting for my in-laws and they didn't have room for my truck in their garage. Overnight some dirtbags stole my taillights. I figured my truck was safe because it was a very affluent neighborhood. That was a $400 mistake I won't make again.

Squeezed in, after cutting out the sill plate. If it wasn’t for that stupid shark antenna it would’ve fit. 6” lift on 35s.
Surprisingly enough the wife’s suburban fits in as well.
FYI. I residing my house, I’ll be fixing what cut out. Winter was in full swing when I brought the truck home.

I just bought a new to me house with a standard garage and the truck is about 4 inches to long straight in but I just tried it at an angle and it does fit that way if your not looking to share the garage with any other vehicles.

I went from a 6’4” bed to a 5’7” bed so I actually have more room than before.👍🏻

26’ deep is the least I would ever want to have for a garage. That’s what this is.

Crew Cab 6’4” bed is 20’2” tip to tail

I thought it might have been that extra glass of whisky I had last night, causing problems with my reading comprehension. 🥴

You were probably too drunk, but still- he was a spammer and only posted to drop a link and either get click-throughs, or to scam someone.

With my LEER 122 High Rise Cap the Truck is 90 inches tall. So I would need at least an 8' tall door opening.

Everybody should have an 8’ door standard …. Can’t believe I didn’t think of it when I built

I have 8' doors and there are times that I wish I had 9's. 🤣

I had a relative build a garage for his boat. It was big enough to fit the Boat, But not the Boat sitting on the Trailer! DOH!
