Any idea why 40amp Air Suspension Fuse would blow in perfect weather?

Nice 70-80 degree weather and the 2019 Air Suspension fuse blew during normal driving. Dealer said they will be requesting more info from Dodge as this isn’t the first one they have seen.

Any similar issues outside of cold weather areas?

That's a problem they've always had with the air ride on the 1500... many were hoping the "redesigned" 5th Gen air ride would improve or correct some of the 4th Gen gremlins, but it would seem the changes didn't cure everything.

Can you be more specific in your comment? When you say that is a problem they've always had, are you saying that the Gen 4 was always blowing fuses or that the air suspension in general had problems. If you are saying that they always were blowing fuses, then can you recall what was the cause? A little more information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, should've been more clear. It's always been thought that the engineers were paranoid about moisture and contamination in the system, so they designed a test/purge system within the air ride loop and it's thought that it causes the fuse to pop when it becomes blocked or finds fault so the compressor doesn't cook. These are not the best designed air ride systems, in my opinion and are in some cases not worth the luxurious ride quality.

But these are problems Ram should be able to address... they just haven't in the last decade.

ugh.. still waiting as the truck has been in the shop for over a week now. Star Case is trying a new type of fuse I believe and testing. I have a loaner car but I want my truck back so bad! But I want it back fixed of course.

Anyone know if I do a Rough Country Lift will that then void future issues with the Air Suspension if they arise?
