Yeah, I have a big gap like that on mine, still has a small vibration. Does it only vibrate when the truck goes into 4 cylinder mode? Is it speed related or there all the time?

took me about 2 hours to install them, the hardest part was drilling the holes for the led lights...… good deal!

I went with Lux Lighting System magnetic LED lights and was hoping to not have to drill but i wasnt so lucky, as i didnt like the look of the wire hanging under the rocker panel. I had to buy a brand new set of drill bits, start with the smallest and work my way up to 1/4”. I wore out my 3/16 and 1/4” bits after the 2 holes on the passenger side and had to get 2 new bits for the drivers side. The lux lighting led lights are so much brighter and look better than the lights provided with the steps.

You don’t have to drill anything. You can stick the lights onto the frame, no wires hanging down. I posted mine somewhere on here, and I know another guy did the same.

If you dont drill a hole through, then yes, the led pigtail will be visible under the bottom of the rocker. I personally dont like that look.

I bought them for 1300 and 35 for the switch from Amazon. On my stock Laramie sport , they came down so far, that they were only 3 inches from the ground when they are lowered. i returned them.
