Hello everyon,

I’m still waiting for my TRX to arrive as a replacement for my 19 Rebel, I loved everything about my Rebel fine truck i took it everywhere & done everything with it my only downside was the AC performance i had to do the AC hack and only then it became acceptable, I live in a hot country and the AC is a dealbreaker, Appreciate all your input thanks.

So far, I've been impressed how quick my 21 limited will blow cold air after sitting in the sun for half the day in the 80* weather we've had recently.

My reference is my previous 13 F150 that wouldn't cool off until I got home.

The question is specifically to TRX owners

I would assume the trx along with any other 2021 would have the redesigned hvac unit that is being installed into vehicles with the complaint of poor ac performance so they should all be the same.

Any solid information that 21 models have a redesigned havc?

No sorry I don’t work at a dealer, but it wouldn’t make sense to use old part numbers that have known issues on the 2021 trucks.

Was 96 when I jumped into Rex today. Set temp the 67 Auto and was already cooling off before I got down the street 1.5 blocks away. Even had the sunroof screen open with sun pouring in. Definitely works good in this truck.

I don't have a TRX but by 21 Longhorn blows cold here it is putting out 44 degree air on a hot day you can see the temp on the top of the 12in screen here's 46° when it was 93 out

You’ll probably get more responses if you post over on the Ram TRX community.

From everything I’ve read, the AC system was fixed (redesigned) on the ’21 models built after July of last year, so TRX owners can breathe a sight of relief.

Cheers,

After receiving my TRX i can confirm that AC is cooler than my 19 Rebel even the dealer confirmed 21 models have a redesigned AC system as our friend Neurobit said earlier.
