I changed my headlights to the Alpha Rex Pro and now actively looking for taillight options and have had zero luck so far. Searching on the forums hoping somebody knows something.

Recon lighting just released two new LED Taillights that are supposed to be plug and play if you have OEM halogen

Nice I am debating on getting a pair. They look identical to the ones I posted but $300 less. I just want to know if they will hold up or not.

Honestly i like the look of the factory LED just swapped out my halogens for them and it looks so much better, plus they are OEM quality.

Yea the stock halogen tails are hideous and had to get rid of them ASAP. One of my first upgrades was to swap out to the Rebel style LED tails which I think look really clean.

They look great! I have the AlphaRex and love the look. Lots of head turning. I will look into these.

After reading this post I did a little research on Recon, middle of the road reviews some loved them many said they are poor quality. For $75 bucks more you can get the OEM taillights. I would rather go that route. On some of the video reviews (of other truck brands) the reverse light needed to be removed from your taillight and installed in theirs, thus halogen backup light. Not sure if the Ram one is that way or not.

From OEM Halogen to OEM LED tail lights, it is plug and play. Pop out the old, pop in the new. Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to do both sides. Nothing else needs to be changed or added. I've had mine for awhile now and in my opinion, can't beat the clean look of them. I don't know why Night Editions don't come with this standard..

welp, didn't know I would .be ordering new tail lights today but yet here we are. Just ordered a set of the Recon as they are exactly what I was looking for. They look completely bad *** in my opinion and will hopefully be the perfect complement to my already installed Alpha Rex Pro Headlights. Will report back on quality once they are installed.

FYI Recon website is currently running a 20% off and free shipping special for Labor Day so the lights were $560 shipped.

Those Recon's are pretty great. I put Recon's on my wife's 2012 Ram 1500 along with Philips LED bulbs years ago and they're still going strong!
Anyone getting them should be pleased.

I got the recon tail lights. Completely plug and play and look way better than the basic halogens. No problems after the weekish that I’ve had them. I have the headlights coming in this week to complete the look

Can you post some real world photos of them at night?

If you have an opportunity, would you mind posting a night picture with, taillights, brake and backup lights on. If it's too big of PIA don't worry about it.
