I went with the Tyger side steps on amazon. They seem pretty sturdy and easy install.

Just curious what people have used. Whats the quality. And pics
Ionic 51 series bright from Running Board Warehouse. Great price and I really like these boards. Only had them a little over two months so I can’t speak to longevity.

I went with Go Rhino 1000 series 5”. Incredibly easy to install and work like they should.

The main thing is, whatever you buy. The mounting screws are painted under the truck. Get a tap & die set and chase the screws before you install. Getting the paint out of the threads makes installation MUCH easier.
I was really concerned about the paint and wasn’t going to go out to buy anything, so here’s what I did (and a lot of you will think I wasn’t smart for doing it this way...but it worked). The top bolt on all of mine were fine, nuts went on no problem. I sprayed the bottom bolts with just a small amount of WD40 and slowly tightened the nuts. Worked perfectly for me. Every now and then if it felt like it was getting a little too tight I’d back off and then proceed. Hope this is helpful.

Westin wheel to wheel. The 4th bracket on each side was a bit of a pain!

Shoot, my wife kills me on a daily based upon what I buy. Then she brings me back to life so that she can kill me all over again. :)

I went with this style. A few manufacturers sell this model, this one by Raptor. They just slap their name on the plastic mold. They are decent. I did not want a gloss finish so I looked for a satin/matte finish. This is more of a semi-gloss I would guess. I wanted something easy for the family to get in and out off without too many sharp edges or a small step for them to slip off of. I don't really use it since I can hop on and off with ease.
