@brental1 --- I'm re-writing a how-to for the seats, I'm at the station for my 24 hr shift -- it will be posted once it's ready... as far as the heated wheel, you'll need a new clock spring and the wheel, haven't done mine yet but it is on my list..

Great, will be looking for you how-to.

I am also interested.
I have been struggling with my 2022 bighorn and searching for any help.
Seats are in, pre wired. So that was great.
Ecu configured.
Driver seat can be controlled only by setting the Auto on comfort to "on at all starts."
Can not get the controls to populate the radio.
Uconnect5.
Just purchased the Temperature Control with the buttons.
Yanked the entertainment stack, plugged it in. Nothing on heated seat buttons, everything else was functional.

I am not the lucky one who got the temp control harness pre wired on a level 1 big horn?
I can't be the only person running into this.
Was happy with soft controls. Nope, nor the hard controls.

The changes you want to make are in the BCM... have you made the changes with Alfa and confirmed the change was made??

I did. Thanks to the posts in other forums, I found this.

FRONT HEATED SEATS:
- ECUConfig 3: front heated seats present- YES
- ECUConfig 4: heated seat present- YES
- Memory: front heated seats present- YES
- Seats B: front heated seat levels- 3 level (high/med/low/off)
- Seats B: seat material front- TYPE 3 (limited, power wagon), TYPE 1 (Laramie), TYPE 2 (big horn)
- CustSetMenu 1: auto on comfort CSM present- FEATURE 2 - 3 OPTION
- Cabin Net: CSWM comfort seat wheel module

I checked the changes numerous times and they all changed in the bcm.

Comfort and seats
Auto on comfort, only settings that show.

Thanks

Can you elaborate?
"Seats are in, pre wired. So that was great." Did you swap seats into your truck; or add seat heater pads to your existing seats? Either way, what do you mean 'prewired'? Did you find all the wires you needed in the big yellow connector?
And, "I am not the lucky one who got the temp control harness pre wired on a level 1 big horn". I THINK there are only 5 wires to that connector (CAN IHS +, CAN IHS -, FUSED B+, GROUND, HAZARD SWITCH SENSE) regardless of option, so everything in that center stack module, except Hazard, communicates to the truck through CANBUS.

Everything on the Temp Control worked except the heated seat/wheel. I left the original temp control in for now. Was super easy to pull the entertainment stack, but was not going to unplug everything without being sure.

@brental1 -- I can confirm that your vehicle is not a unicorn. I have modified 4 Rams that needed to have the body harness wires added... as far as the stack switch (seats/wheel) ... you just add it and when the changes are made in Alfa, those 3 buttons become active... don't get caught up on the amount of wiring you see or don't -- those switches send 'data' to work their magic :)

Thanks for confirming my assumption that the center stack switches (except Hazard) communicate through CANBUS. Also, much thanks for posting the pinouts for the underseat connectors. I wasn't as lucky as some others. I don't have the Heated Steering Wheel Feed/Return wires; nor the CAN IHS (+) or (-) wires in the big yellow connectors. I can figure out how to route the Heated Wheel Feed/Return from the big yellow to the clock spring connector; but I have these questions if you can answer.
1. Is there a 'hub' when I should get the CAN IHS? If so, where is it located?
2. Do you have a part number for the clock spring I need (with the additional 2 pins for heat)?
3. Do you have part numbers for harnesses I need to get from the big yellow to the Comfort Seat and Steering Wheel Module? And, do I need harnesses to connect the heated seat pads to this Module, or do the seat pads plug directly into the Module? If I do need additional harnesses, do you have those part numbers?

Thanks, Brent

Thanks to these two for sharing and being awesome!

@Jimmy07
@FM45

Thanks for the push/knowledge to go forward!
Committed to trying again this morning.
Attacked the entertainment stack, swapped the temp control.
Went back into Alpha and had to turn the heated steering wheel options on (even though that is not present yet) this seemed to make a difference. After the first start the heat seat buttons lit up! 🔥
I have control of the Driver and now the passenger seats! Avoided the wiring snafu and that was a huge relief!
My rear end is toasty as I write.

This solved the hard buttons(which I was happy to avoid) but still after all this, nothing comes up for the soft controls. This still leaves me scratching why they won't populate the screen.

Now I am empowered to go after the steering wheel and a remote start. One baby step at a time.
These forums are so helpful and everyone that contributes, Big Thanks all around.

Another question on this swap. There are two PNs for the Module-Heated Seat. 68433906AC is for option codes X8Z, CMA and NHS.
68433907AC is for same three option codes X8Z, CMA, NHS; and adds CAJ.

Which one do I need for heated seats and steering wheel?

All cconfrimed to what I have except...
I had Type 2 for the Seat and Wheel Material.
I was told it was TYPE 2 for Bighorn?
I still can't imagine these two setting would prevent the soft controls.
Thanks 😁

It's what it sounds like, it allows the auto on comfort settings, turns heated wheel, seats on at all starts, remote, or off. That was the only control I had until I installed the hard buttons.

Have you been able to determine which wires you had in the yellow connectors, compared to FM45's list? I'm missing a lot of them in my 2022 Big Horn with Level 1 Equipment Group. Did you already have heated seats (Level 2 Equipment Group) in your truck before swapping the seats in?

Hello Aaron,

I had Custom Upholstery here in Richmond VA install front seat heaters in my 2019 Bighorn. They are great and the button is on the side of the seat in front of my seat controls. They have HIGH and LOW and OFF on the button and high gets really toasty :) Hope this helps !
