What did you do to **** her off that she backed into your truck lol. Never encountered this but would prob depend on your collision deductible vs. how much damage was done. This is probably a long shot but has anyone ever had their spouse re end the front of your truck? If so how did y’all go about it getting fixed insurance wise or just out of pocket
What happened? Just the front bumper?
I bought a new one from the dealer and replaced it myself... it wasn't easy but with some help from a friend, you can do it.
You're going to have to take all the hardware from the old bumper (whatever is salvageable) and move to the new one, the new bumper is just a shell, nothing more.

Man that stinks. Hopefully it doesn't break the bank. Keep us posted. Here’s the damage
First off, I have no real experience working in a body shop. But, I've done a lot of backyard body work on my own vehicles, as well as gotten several estimates on this type of repair. It all depends on how good of a job the OP wants on the repair. One thing in his favor, as far as parts replacement goes, is the fact that the bumper is painted. Much easier to repair painted metal than chromed metal. Bang out the dents, fill any imperfections, and repaint. The other "hidden" potential issue is the bumper mounts. It's likely that they got tweaked when this happened. So if a new or straigntened bumper were to be fitted, it's likely that it wouldn't fit without fixing the mounts as well. And even then it might not fit like it did when new. Definitely do-able without replacing parts, but I suspect most body shops would provide a quote with new parts included.I would think a good shop could get that in good shape for what your deductible would be anyways...as long as nothing had to be replaced.
That's a smart move, perfect time to upgrade the bumper and the wife can't say anything about it because she wrecked it . Well done sir!Needless to say I ordered a Westin pro mod bumper instead
