I had the same problem several times with the front lower lip and the active air, I’ve also broke it couple of times which was done under warranty.
And been told by the dealer not to remove the active air dam, another ram club member mentioned he had a way around it by keeping the motors, and removed the dam, he got no codes and the truck will still think that the dam is there, sound is sometimes annoying but if you’re driving you wont hear it.
