5th gen 1500 V6 is a oil catch can recommended?

Hi, looked around the internet a bit but really didn't see any info of 5th gen ram 1500 v6 pentastar with a oil catch can. I know v6 5th gens are not favorable but it's what I ended up getting due to my budget and vehicle prices last year spring. Is a catch can recommended for this motor on this gen ram? If so anyone have one installed? Pics and which catch can? Looking for anything to help the longevity of the motor. Thanks.

It's a port injection engine so there's really no need for one. Adding one will not hurt anything, and your intake system may stay a little cleaner. Catch cans are beneficial for gasoline direct injected engines to help reduce the build up of carbon deposits on the back of the intake valves. That isn't a problem with port injection.

You don't NEED one, but buy once cry once. I'm still using my can from my Silverado and have a spare (truck needed 2 because of its design).
There are no downsides except keeping things cleaner

Even when our engines are port injection, the amount of blow by from the crankcase is huge, there's always a big amount of oil being poured back to the intake manifold together with all the recirculation. I had one installed on my 4th gen and did the same in my 5th gen. I'll attach some pictures and of my 5th gen install and willing to guide anyone needing more instruction on how to.

I used high pressure threaded protect heater and gass lines from Amazon and AN fittings. Wanted to make it look as tidy as possible

Hi and thanks for the pictures on my post regarding the catch can on a v6 5th gen ram. I'm definitely going to install one. I was looking at this kit as It states it's for a 3.6L charger (same engine?) :

If you would recommended against it, what were the parts you used and also what pcv lines do I connect the catch can to? There is literally nowhere on the internet that shows in detail how to install the catch can on a 5th gen 3.6L v6. Sorry if I'm being a noob here but wouldn't want to mess my engine up by connecting to the wrong lines. Thanks again.
