I have a 19 Ram 1500 with a 5.7. I just got it back from the dealer . It was there for running rough and missing and for the drone. They were able to fix the missing with a new fuel injector but according to the dealer my truck has the latest update for the drone and there isn’t any thing else he can do .
Is there any other way to get rid of it ? It’s the worst at around 2000 RPM. The truck has 6000 miles.
Thanks

It would be helpful if you updated your signature block with some useful information. See mine for an example or other posts, but if we knew what you were working with, it helps. In all of your future posts.

I have driven the truck the last three days with no exhaust drone . I don’t know what changed but it’s nice and quiet.

Did the exhaust drone you're referring to sound like someone blowing into an empty bottle or conch shell? Mine was doing this as it decelerated and did it very infrequently.

Exhaust drone for sure or ANC acting up? Try pulling fuse F12 - and see if it goes away.

Please let us know the fix and result when you get it back. I have a similar issue. Im thinking its the ANC or Active tunned mass module

Same issue I have and you discribe it perfectly. It happens when coasting and in eco mode I find. What's your build date? Mine is Dec 2018. I think lost of vehicle arounds this time is affect.

For those that don't know. He's referring to the Internal PDC (Power Dist Center). Located under drivers's side instrument panel.

I picked up truck last night and drove about 40 miles with no drone. There is a TSB update for the drone.

They didn’t put the TSB on the receipt. It says they found flash for anc module . Mine was built 6-18

Mine just started doing this today. Build date 9-18. Got it 12-31-18...only 1600 miles. Guess I'll monitor it and have it taken care of with the recalls.

Love this forum and the members! Knew I'd find info on this :)

Thanks!!
