lol it takes 15 mins to take it off … just have to wait till im back home next week monday i gotchu
Haha well I really appreciate that! That would be great to know for sure. Weirdly the Fox 2.0s come in 2 different sizes for the 3”, 4” and 6” kits but it kinda seems like the 2.5s are the same for 4” and 6”

Well I looked a little more and I noticed that the 2.0 versions for 4” and 6” kit have the same compressed length but the 6” kit has 1.75” longer extended length. I feel pretty confident saying both kits probably use the 2.5 shocks designed for the 4” kit. They can get away with the 6” kit not having the most travel possible, but I don’t think they can limit the 4” kit from topping out, so they probably use the 4” version on both kits and it’s maximized for the 4” kit. Reason I could see them doing this for the 2.5s and not the 2.0s is because the 2.0s cost pennies on the dollar so they can throw a longer shaft or body on for cheap. The 2.5s are much more expensive so they probably only wanted to do r&d on one shock vs two separate ones. This is all speculation, but based on the fact that all the BDS kits literally are setup for like 4.5-5” lift but marketed as 4” and 6” kits to maximize their options, it makes sense they’d do the same with the shocks. And I think just like with the lift kit’s base components it’s probably optimized for 4” height and can be comfortably accommodated to 6”

well remember i got the 2.5. from 5 inch kit and the one from 0-2 inch … so willl find out if its any different with extended or not

Oh yeah, that’s even weirder then! When you had them off the truck and said they looked like the same size was that compressed or extended?
