35s for stock 2019 rims?

Can anyone touch base on tire size options with air suspension? I saw someone in this thread ask and no one acknowledged him. I too am looking for some help. I don’t want to remove the air suspension to level the truck but I’m real interested in getting 35’s on this thing. Someone help!

Does your truck with the air suspension have the offroad group? If not you're going to have to put a lvl lift on it. If it does 35's will clear.

Thanks for clearing that up! What’s the difference between the off-road group that allows one to not need to do a level kit while you would still need to without it? (I do have the off-road group, but I am still curious?)

My major concern was if 35’s would be too large when completely aired out for the exit/entry level

On air suspension trucks, off-road just makes all the settings about an inch higher. You’ll want to do the mod to the front fender well in the sticky threads, or at least know what do do if you have rubbing after installation. Considering you don’t drive in entry/exit, keep the wheels straight and no issues. I can drive mine at super low speed in e/e with 37s with only a wee bit of rub on bumps (leveled Rebel).

The only thing I had to do on mine to make the tires not rub at full turn was to push in on the front of the liners where they bulged out. I only rub at full turn now if I'm in entry/exit mode. (which is almost never) lol

Only issue I had was rubbing at full lock. trimmed the liners a bit and I'm good now. I feel like it could have been the spacers contributing to the rubbing a little...

Another thing to keep in mind is “35s” come in many different diameters starting just barely over 34”. Tolerances are tight enough that it will make a difference along with tread pattern.

Mine actually measure 34.5". Must have been why I didn't have too much trouble lol.

Most 35's will come in between 34 and 34.5 inches tall. Very few actually come in at a true 35. Most 295/60r20 will be around 34.3" tall and be the same height as a "35" but will only be 11.8 inches wide vs the 12.50 wide and that can also make the difference into a tire clearing and not. (btw over the past 3.5 years i've not had one 295/60r20 rub on a factory rim on a ram that's lvl'd or that has the off road package) (that's about 200ish trucks)

Yeah, I think width is an important factor that gets overlooked.
I have 285/75/18 (34.8") on OEM wheels, but they're only 11.5" wide so they fit with room to spare on my leveled '21. I suspect that same size may fit (for daily driving) without the level but that's just a guess.

Tacomaworld.com has a tire size calculator that will tell you diameter, width, sidewall height, revolutions per mile, and the total circumference. You can also input two different tire sizes and it will show them next to each other and also show all the numbers next to each other. It obviously won’t take into consideration the brand or tread pattern though.

I went with LT295/70R18 Toyo Open Country R/T Trail’s. Readylift 2” Level w/UCA’s, Stock Rebel Wheels, no Wheel Spacers. Clears the UCA’s no problem and Zero rubbing even with the Weathertech Mud Flaps.

Anyone put 35 inch tires on stock 18 inch rims? I am installing the ReadyLIFT 3.5 so clearance should not be a issue...just wondering if there are cons to keeping stock rims if not wanting to buy 20 inch ones right now.

I put 285/55R/22 on my 2019 ram limited with only a level kit. Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They were only 11.4 wide and fit good on stock wide rims.
