34” or 35” tires Stock Suspension

I'm about to pull the trigger on my wheels as well. Still deciding between 20X9 +1 with 285 60 20 or 18X9 +1 with 295 70 18. kliffy77 was able to fit the 295 70 18 on his truck with stock suspension. I am not planning on lifting my truck but would like the extra 1" of height that I would gain with the 18 setup. The 20's would be very close to stock.

Interesting. For me? I like the look of the additional sidewall!
I think I'm going to try to stick with the stock wheels, hoping my mild lift in the front will be enough.

I'll be very interested to see what you go with on your setup

I will post pictures if and when I can finally make a decision. I still have a little bit of tread on my stock tires... 28K and counting. Picking up the truck today... had a slight tear in the seat under warranty and finally got them to cover the AC unit that underperforms thanks to a TSB that someone posted in another thread! Which is great!

I do have a little seat issue, but I've head that they sorta wipe their *** with that and tell people it's "normal wear".

But the AC fix. oooo interesting...

My dealer gave me no issue with the seat. There was a slight tear in the vinyl on the side of the seat where it creased. They took a picture and sent it to FCA.... repaired no issue! AC was an added bonus... works much better! Was about to pull the trigger on the Fuel Covert Wheels in red but decided to do a little more research regarding the red painting of the wheels. It seems that the red will fade over time and for some fairly quickly. So now I'm rethinking my wheel choice. Maybe less red and more black! I really liked the Coverts!

My Fuel covert 18x9 in black with stock tires. The wheels made the stock tires look much wider. Still deciding on new tire size.

Those look downright beefy! If you told me they were slightly wider than the stock tires, I'd believe it

ChadT - agree, quite a difference just with wider wheels. Some better before after pics.

flinstigator Mine are +1. Started looking into tire sizes, currently at 22K so I have a bit of time. Very interesting thread to follow here!

is suspension stock, up to what size you think you can go?

Bringing this thread back to life. I haven’t seen anyone mention 295/65/18 on stock Rebel suspension and stock 18x8’s. The 295/65 is the same 33”+ as the stock 275/70 just wider. Would it clear the UCA’s? I don’t have my truck yet, so I’m not sure how much UCA clearance there is. While there’s not many options in this size, you can get DuraTracs with the 3PMSF rating in this size.

Here's mine. Falcon shocks on level setting with a 1/2" spacer on top of the strut. I am running 285/75/18 Duratracs with .75" spacers in the front and 1" spacers in the rear. No rub whatsoever and it rides like a dream.

Everytime I see this truck I get ideas!

I want to do this same wheel on my Rebel when it gets here. Did you ever change tires? what did you go with?

@jimmy718,
I went with Toyo Open Country AT III, but stayed with same size 275/70/18. Since the wheel is wider at 18x9, the 3 shops I went to all said it would rub without mods. Really liking the tire/wheel combo, very happy with my choice.

I have a 2019 rebel with air ride and fuel wheels. No lift or level. I fit 295/70 18 Toyo Open Country MTs with room to spare.

Anyone running wheels with a -12 offset? Considering going that route, just looking for some pictures.
