Your ride quality won't improve even when adjusting air pressure as the Nitto Ridge Graplers are a 12 ply tire. Pretty much indestructible but will always ride like a wagon across the Kansas plains. After about 20,000 miles it progressively gets a little worse.MPG too early to tell, I drive it like I stole it and 80% of the time its around town. My MPG wasn't great to begin with... Ride quality did go down but I'm still in the process of tuning the pressure. Discount Tire set them at 70psi. They told me that's what the computer spit out for the weight and load rating. I think that was a bit ridiculous, I rarely have a load and don't tow. 70psi left the tires with 0 give on the road. I've went down to 60, test drove, and now I'm running at 50, waaaay better ride. I want to try 40 to see what that's like but unfortunately I'm away from the truck for the next couple weeks. I went into this knowing nothing was going to be as soft and smooth as the stock POS Goodyears.
The reason I went with the new tires to begin with was I had a puncture in my sidewall on the front right pulling into a gas station, no clue what I hit but the sidewalls on those stockers is about paper thin. That really scared me and gave me 0 confidence with the rest of those tires if I replaced it with another stock. But, that's why the ride on the goodyears was so smooth and squishy.... I'll take the trade off for sure now that I feel so much better about the strength of the Nitto's.
Factory offset is a positive + offset I believe.
Yea I was probably just making up the part about the ride getting better going from 70 down to 50psi. Yeah it doesnt, I was down to 42 psi with no positive result. Only downside but indestructible. Never even had a low pressure warning and I work in the Oilfield and tear up those lease roads.Yea I was probably just making up the part about the ride getting better going from 70 down to 50psi. Cheers
I have the same truck and this might sound like a stupid question, but does that mean any 33x12.5r22 till fit on stock height with no rubbing?Just put 33x12.5 22 Ridge Grapplers on yesterday. Laramie with steel suspension. 0 rubbing forward or reverse at full lock. I thought for sure I’d have to trim or mold plastic somewhere. Nope. View attachment 29998

Have the same exact pickup as you but with the tow mirrors and leveling kit. Can't wait to put on some new rubber.
Man, any way you can take more pictures of your truck? I have the same truck but black. I would appreciate it if you can.
NICE! I am thinking about getting the same size in the toyo open country at3's. Have you noticed any wobble with the 305 width?Blacked out the 22's and added some nerf bars..View attachment 36621
no wobbles .. better ride than stock.NICE! I am thinking about getting the same size in the toyo open country at3's. Have you noticed any wobble with the 305 width?
I am currently looking at getting these tires also. Is your vehicle stock ride height with standard suspension? Any rubbing?Just installed some Venom Power Terra Hunter XT's 33x12.50r22 on my stock 22x9 they look great although not the quietest tire out there. They balanced without issue and I'm pretty happy with them so far they also come with a 50,000 mile warranty.
Thats what I have on my 21 Limited nice size.I have searched through the forums and can not find a solid answer on this. I have a 2019 Laramie Sport Black. It is 4x4, steel suspension. Is anyone running 33x12.50 on the stock 22's. I dont really want to change the wheels, I am not planning on a level as mine has the sport hood which appears high enough to almost look level as it sits, and this thing is a pavement queen. I found a good deal on some 33x12.50R22 AT Tires but am nervous to pull the trigger without some feedback. I just cant stand the look of the eagle touring 32in tires that it came with and want a bit of meat on the tires. Thanks Guys!!
There is some rubbing on my WeatherTech mudflaps. I'm going to remove some material off the flaps and that should take care of that. Rubbing would not be an issue with no flaps. My truck is leveled with a 2" MotoFab kit and 1.5" hubcentric wheel spacersI am currently looking at getting these tires also. Is your vehicle stock ride height with standard suspension? Any rubbing?
Thank you for confirming. How do you like the tire? There is some rubbing on my WeatherTech mudflaps. I'm going to remove some material off the flaps and that should take care of that. Tire is truly bad *** looking and rides really nice with no issues balancing. My only complaint is that they definitely have more of an MT tire sound....I always have my tunes playing and it drowns it out for the most partThank you for confirming. How do you like the tire?
