33x12.50R22 on Factory 22's and Steel Suspension 4x4?

I have searched through the forums and can not find a solid answer on this. I have a 2019 Laramie Sport Black. It is 4x4, steel suspension. Is anyone running 33x12.50 on the stock 22's. I dont really want to change the wheels, I am not planning on a level as mine has the sport hood which appears high enough to almost look level as it sits, and this thing is a pavement queen. I found a good deal on some 33x12.50R22 AT Tires but am nervous to pull the trigger without some feedback. I just cant stand the look of the eagle touring 32in tires that it came with and want a bit of meat on the tires. Thanks Guys!!

Thanks for the feedback, that’s what I was thinking but getting mixed feedback from the forums and YouTube. I see some people running them without issue, but most with 22’s have air suspension and so I wanted to check with anyone else who might have steel suspension.

33x12.50 on stock 22s

Got these installed today, AMP Terrain Attack A/T A in 33/12.50 on stock 22-inch sport wheels. I was worried they’d rub but I have ZERO rubbing! My truck is leveled 2 inches with Readylift upper control arms. I should’ve mentioned this initially but I will say that clearance is pretty tight...

Just put 33x12.5 22 Ridge Grapplers on yesterday. Laramie with steel suspension. 0 rubbing forward or reverse at full lock. I thought for sure I’d have to trim or mold plastic somewhere. Nope.

If you put 33's on stock wheels, you won't rub, 33's will start rubbing at 11-12" wide which then those wheels usually have some negative really negative offsets, so for stock, you should be fine!

Torn between 285/50/22 and the 33/12.5/22's These look great with factory offset. The wheels I'm looking at are a +12. Did you notice any significant difference in ride quality and MPG going to the 33s?

MPG too early to tell, I drive it like I stole it and 80% of the time its around town. My MPG wasn't great to begin with... Ride quality did go down but I'm still in the process of tuning the pressure. Discount Tire set them at 70psi. They told me that's what the computer spit out for the weight and load rating. I think that was a bit ridiculous, I rarely have a load and don't tow. 70psi left the tires with 0 give on the road. I've went down to 60, test drove, and now I'm running at 50, waaaay better ride. I want to try 40 to see what that's like but unfortunately I'm away from the truck for the next couple weeks. I went into this knowing nothing was going to be as soft and smooth as the stock POS Goodyears.

The reason I went with the new tires to begin with was I had a puncture in my sidewall on the front right pulling into a gas station, no clue what I hit but the sidewalls on those stockers is about paper thin. That really scared me and gave me 0 confidence with the rest of those tires if I replaced it with another stock. But, that's why the ride on the goodyears was so smooth and squishy.... I'll take the trade off for sure now that I feel so much better about the strength of the Nitto's.

Your truck looks awesome! I'm definitely gonna get a set for my truck. I'm with you on the stock tires are shi*. Ya, they ride smooth but I don't trust them in the rain. I've fish tailed before with one of my other brand new trucks with the same tires just making a turn and I wasn't even in the gas much. Definitely gives the truck that aggressive look too.

I wonder if the offset is the same as the other stock 22" wheels, because someone else with the other wheels said there was a slight bit of rub with the 33/12.5/22 tires.

Yea I have no clue on offset difference between rim styles. Might be a dealer question.
