Did I miss it on the 2021 build I just did. The build site let's me select 26 gal at no charge but I didn't see an option for the 33. I built a Laramie fully decked out at over $62,000 w/ e-torque, L-2, 12" etc.

I just configured a 2021 two wheel drive crew cab Laramie with Level 2 and the Sport Appearance package (among other things) and I was able to select the 33 gallon fuel tank.

What happens if you remove the e-torque option?

You have to select a Level Group to be able to get the 33 gallon tank. At least that's the way it was for 2019 and 2020 trucks.

You save $200.

It's hard to do as it appears to be linked to most of the upgrade package. I started with the non-e-torque but the site upgraded me to the e-torque.

This says it's available so thanks for the input. I assumed I just couldn't find it, glad it's just my skills.

Go to this website and select "Build & Price" in the upper right hand corner. You can select 2021 from the top of the page that then opens.

The 33 gallon is not an option for the 4 wheel drive Laramie. I also can't upgrade to the 26 gallon tank with the non-etorque HEMI engine. Bummer! I have a 30 gallon tank now. At least there are some other positives with the 2021.

Good catch. I went back and it is available on the Limited. Wonder why the differences.

I’m sure they are still working out the kinks with the online configurator. It’s only been online for 24 hours. This wouldn’t be the first time it’s had some issues.

I highly doubt they would remove the 33 gallon tank from certain builds...especially if similar builds had the option available in 2019/2020.

Best bet would be to contact a dealer who can go into their system and build the truck. Dealer systems are much more reliable than the online configurator.

Don’t bother looking at the builder today. It’s all glitched and incorrect. They 33 gallon tank is an option but it wasn’t showing on the builder. The Night package is also an option and wasn’t on there either

Here's the order my dealer placed just shy two weeks ago:

What's curious is that sales code NFF, the 33 gallon tank is priced at 0. I suppose that implies it's included (or a no-cost option) with one of the other packages?

When I did my order the system originally put it at $0 as well, but the dealership had to come back and correct it as a $445 (msrp) option.

You can't get the 33 gal tank in the eco diesel as the DEF tank takes up the space. 26 gal tank and 7-8 gal DEF tank equals the space of the 33 gal tank
