I took my truck in on November 9th for a leaky third brake light. The headliner was stained, so they had to remove that. In the process of removing that, they cracked my windshield. That job was supposed to take three days, at this point they have pushed back the arrival of a windshield three times, and today they just pushed it back to potentially March 31st, but no guarantee.

I have had a Rental Big Horn for longer than I have owned and driven my own truck. Needless to say my experience with Chrysler and RAM has not gone off to a great start.

Dealership says our hands are tied and they just have to wait for parts, and Chrysler customer care doesn't seem you have much to offer either.

Any suggestions?

An auto glass company installed a new windshield (OEM with the ram logo on it) a day after I contacted them. This was back in December. Seems weird that your dealer can't get one.

Something doesn't sound right about this. There's no way they can't get a windshield for 3 to 6 months. I'd be interested to hear if @RamCares can help on this.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention @mikeru82 !

@mastermayhm -- sorry to hear about the delay you've been experiencing. If you'd like us to investigate this further, feel free to send our @RamCares team a private message with your current mileage & VIN! Thanks.

Unfortunately this is not uncommon at all due to supply chain disruptions.
