3.5 lift not a good idea

So putting the 3.5 lift on a truck that doesn't have the ORP will be fine ?
As I understand it, the 3.5” lift with upper control arms would be perfectly fine in non-ORP trucks. I’ve been thinking of going to this eventually. The CV joints are seemingly holding up fine for others in the forum, which gives me confidence. :)

I have the 3.5" readylift installed on my 2019 ram 1500 with the off road package and it is stiff, bouncy and you feel everything on the road. I would like to ride in a truck without the offroad package and 3.5" readylift to see if there is a difference. Having it uninstalled tomorrow going back to stock I love the look hate the ride quality
Exactly how I’m feeling after less than a week w/3.5” readylift on my 5th gen 1500 off-road

It’s going to feel the same. My advice is to take the ready lift off and put the 4 inch BDS kid on you’ll be super happy

I’m currently running into issues w/my 2019 5th gen 1500 ORP w/3.5” readylift, getting rubbing on the springs. Readylift states this can possibly be resolved with removing the preload spacer, truck goes back into shop to see if it corrects the issue. Truck was making clunking noises from passenger side and slightly from driver side. Readylift states the kit will work on ORP as long as your measurement from Hub center to top of wheel well doesn’t exceed 26” I’m sitting a pinch over 25” so they’re abit baffled (smh)

Remove the spacer. I installed just the strut extension and Upper Control Arms to fit 35x12.5x20's on 20x9 +1mm Fuel Blitz rims. The ride is unchanged and no noises. Couldn't be happier with the change. Stock measurements were 22-1/4" front 24-1/2" rear. Front is now 23-3/4". Minor adjustment to the mud flaps and no rubbing too.

Thank you here are the pics of the cv angles Could not wait wanted your opinion
Ok, automotive technician for 37 years plus instructed at highscool and college level for 5 years. Those are extreme angles for all those components. One of the areas I always specialized in was steering and suspension. You have to keep in mind all those components are longer in a straight line than at an angle. That's why stock they're almost flat. Tie rod, cv,control arms... That's why big lifts use drop down brackets. The wheels are also trying to move out over bumps which causes more resistance to cycling.

I have 3.5” readylift on my bighorn non offroad package truck with 35 x 12.50x18 and the ride is crap. Having kit pulled off and coilovers installed.
