295/65r20?

I haven’t really seen anybody mention this tire size on this truck and I’m kinda wondering why. I had a 2016 with Bilsteins set at 2.1” with a set of these tires on my stock 20” wheels and I loved them. No rubbing, no trimming, no nothing. Are the wheel wells on these trucks smaller than gen 4? Or is this just an unpopular tire size? Anybody have any info?

I run that size on factory black 20's. I think its a unknown size for the most part. 2" level.

No spacer and only 2" MotoFab level. I checked into spacers but don't wanna snug them up when I change oil. To me it doesn't even come close to rubbing. It's a tad bit higher in the front which I like the Mississippi lean.

Hard to explain. Harsher maybe. The only reason that would be is because the tires weigh more than the factory tires did. Technically the suspension hasn't changed. But I do enjoy more feedback from the suspension so I'm happy.

However you do not have ram flares, I have Ram flares and mud flaps. I want 295/65, just worried about rubbing as I have less spare available than you.

Do you have any issues with the tires hitting the upper wheel well when going off road or over large bumps/dips? Also, how is your ride quality/MPG?

Do you know which gear ratio you have? Thinking of going with either this exact tire or the 35x12.5. I do have the 3:21 gearing in mine and I’m worried about extreme power loss and mpg drop. ( I expect mpg to drop 1-2 but don’t want any more than that ).

I’m running NRG’s on Readylift 3.5” SST lift, Lone Star Night Edition, 2wd. Got rubbing on speed right turns (eg highway cloverleafs), so added .25” wheel spacers. Still getting, so plan on adding .5” spacers. Hope this solves. Not sure why others with similar set up not experiencing same, unless it’s the difference between 2wd and 4wd suspension components...Have 3.21 gears and you’ll def take a hit in MPGs, although not sure if this is more attributed to lift or the tires. I’m sure probably combo of both. But ride quality is smooth (to me at least)...Other than 7/8 gear hunting at highway speeds, but I was experiencing some of that with the 3.21 gears pre-tires and lift...The look and ride height trumps all these issues to me though .

295/65/20 is the way to go vs 35x12.5 as they are 11.5” vs 12.5” wide. My NRG’s are actually 11.7” wide (still narrower than 35x12.5).

I’ve never hit the top wheel well, ride quality is the same as stock in my opinion, could be the Toyo’s rubber. I had to get my dealership to change the computer programming for the speedometer. Highway I have been averaging 18.9-19.3mpg. I also have 4wd and the 3.21 gears. I have noticed a slight power loss on acceleration but nothing too drastic.
