The actual fenders are the same and the wheels would be the same place, the only thing that would be different would be the little 1/4” flare.Yeah , it would stick out more then mine since mine are flat ?
The bigger the tires the more ground clearance. The smaller the lift, the lower the COG.Haha thanks for all the info , your truck is perfect ! My only worry about the 295/65/20 is I don’t want it to fill my wells to much ... like since I’m only leveling the front 2.5 and nothing in the back I like the mean stance / high side walls on tires
This is the kit I’m using looks good but I think I would like a bigger tire just not to fill the wells to much and make the truck look long love the higher side walls for sure
I hate to be the downer here but if you’ve never had LT tires you will absolutely notice the difference. I tried LT tires on my truck last year for the first time in a 275/70/18 and it was very noticeably a stiffer ride. I went back to S/L rated tires. All depends on what you are willing to live withthanks - yeah, never had a truck before or LT tires. I like the look of them but concerned about noise and comfort.
Once you make the switch, the difference in ride isn’t that big to go a little bigger.Ya that’s what I’m thinking , what about the 285-65 I seen a few that look good , i just have ocd and want the right size tires lol
Well said, very trueOnce you make the switch, the difference in ride isn’t that big to go a little bigger.
If you want the big tires, go as big as you can, it’s fun and will put a smile on your face. You want stock ride, stick with stock.
Like with business, compromise means neither party gets what they want.
Do you know if I need a wheel spacer to have a 0 offset on my stock 20x9. I know current offset on stock is +19 and I just want to get to 0 on my new shoes which are 305/55/20. thanks!More costly to incrementally increase. If you have the slightest desire to lift/increase tire size from stock, go the biggest you desire ONCE and be done. Trust me it’ll save money, time, and hassle in the long run and you can just enjoy your truck.
You’d need 19 mm of spacer in that case. (3/4”) to get to 0.Do you know if I need a wheel spacer to have a 0 offset on my stock 20x9. I know current offset on stock is +19 and I just want to get to 0 on my new shoes which are 305/55/20. thanks!
thanks that helps! I am searching for a 1'' spacer. I think they only come at a min of 1.5" for billet. You’d need 19 mm of spacer in that case. (3/4”) to get to 0.
Just a note, you are balancing two things. You’ll be close to the UCA without a spacer, the further you space out the closer you’ll get to rubbing the spat.
Pics of each location from mine.
Probably due to stud length. I know RC has 1/4s that use the stock studs.thanks that helps! I am searching for a 1'' spacer. I think they only come at a min of 1.5" for billet.
well you are running 35's too....I get confused though. we are talking wheel spacers - not suspension spacers right?Had to add 1.5” spacers on mine just to get sufficient clearance/‘breathing room’...For some reason our stock Rams are really tight.
