Just purchased the Continental Terrain Contact AT's in 285/45/22 which is stock replacement size for the 22'' wheels. As everyone who has a 22'' wheel knows, finding decent tires for this size wheel is not the easiest decision. I'm a former K02 and Duratrac user prior to coming over to Ram. I've researched multiple AT's including the Hankook Dynapro AT2's, the Bridgestone Dueler AT RH-S, the Toyo Open Country AT II, the General Tire Grabber APT, the Firestone Destination A/T2, the classic Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and multiple others that don't need mentioning. I've looked at all of these tires in different sizes and weighed the pros and cons of going bigger and decided to stay stock. After researching and comparing all these tires over the last few months, I fell in love with all the positives the Continental TC offers. It's seriously hard to find a bad review out there. I'm 95% on the road and 5% off. I was mostly concerned with maintaining near stock quietness (exceeded my expectations - may even be quieter than stock), on-road dry and wet performance, and snow and dirt performance. This tire eased my mind more than any of the others in these categories. Even though they are not "snow rated" (either sever snow service certification and/or carry the three-peak mountain snowflake [3PMSF] symbol), they perform exceptionally well in the snow-based on video reviews, paper reviews, and internet reviews, as well as the 9" of snow NEPA just threw down on us that let me put the tires to the test. I couldn't be happier. The look is not as aggressive as some of the other AT's, but that's partially because you're not getting much of a sidewall with the 22'' tire. Nonetheless, they do look much better in person and I'm looking forward to however many miles I can get out of them. If something changes, I will update this thread.

I have those on my 20” Limited wheels and absolutely love all that they bring to the table. I have not one complaint and all praise for them. I’m not usually a Continental guy but I already had a set of Toyo Open Country on my powder coated wheels and wanted to try something different on the Limited ones.

Thanks for the review. I will keep these in mind when it's time to put new tires on my 22"s.

Not to mention Consumer Reports ranks them the highest for AT’s (not saying I trust consumer reports to review and rank AT’s)

Mother F’er!! Just called tire shop. Knew something was off on the look which is why I mentioned that in my OP. Now I feel stupid. Thank you for pointing it out!
Don’t get to upset, both appear to be good tires. As long as you didn’t over pay, depending upon where you are driving you may still be fine. By the way, how many miles did you have on your OEM tires? I am concerned mine seem to be wearing pretty fast.

I am probably going to be getting the Continetal AT's for my 20" Rims when the stockers are worn out. I did see they recently came out with an HT version like you got, tread on those looks very similar to the Michelin Defenders that I have run before.

No prob! It would be no good if you paid for the A/T and didn’t get them! I’m sure the H/T is a great tire too.

Thanks again @MJH19RAM! Nice looking out. Embarrassed that I made the investment and overlooked this. Especially snapping close up pics! Fortunately, I spoke with the tire dealer and they’re just as upset and embarrassed as I am and wanting to make it right ASAP. The AT’s are on the way to the shop and they’ll swap them out early this week.
As for the POS stock tires, they were near end of life with nearly 18k miles and 3 rotations. Probably could have gone another month or two if winter wasn’t upon us.

I’ll edit the pics when the new tires are on!

Funny (sort of) as I read your post, I thought, "those don't look like mine."

I put these Continental's on my truck day one, as Mopar had a buy 3, get 4th tire for $1 sale. I had these same A/T's on my GMC, before I switched to Ram. Sharp look, limited road noise, bit more aggressive if needed, etc.

Enjoy once you get your correct tires sorted out!

Ps - I have 4, Goodyear Eagles with 6 miles on them...looking to sell for $700, for the 4.

Nice! Getting my 2020 Laramie night edition tomorrow with ram boxes. Wanted multi tailgate but ...
I have the 2016 pilot also and have had issues to say the least from day 1 and was in the shop for a week 1 hour into the trip back from the dealership. Smh. How is the 2019 pilot ?

Wow I’m getting my truck tomorrow May have to do that. Not a huge fan of low profile for a few reasons ... cost ?
got em from a local shop and they put em on.. was around 1300 total. Had less than 500 miles on my stock tires... did this right away.

Updated pics in original post

Curious why u swapped as opposed to just refunding the difference after such rave reviews for what ended up being an H/T tire? Do u have enough miles on the A/T to tell how u like them?
