'21 RAM 1500 eTorque Recall...."Good News"

It's the easiest rolling trailer I have ever seen. I can roll it all the way across the yard by hand. It's wind resistance. I bet if I attached a flag to the back bumper and drove around it would lose 3 mpg.

I'm going to bow out to your superior understanding of aerodynamics. 7 MPG loss with a small utility trailer and 3 MPG with a flag. 🤣🤣🤣

Heck I only lose 2.5-3 mpg towing my 3000 lb fishing boat. With 3.21’s even. Guess my boat cuts the wind real good.

7 mpg for a small empty utility trailer? That just doesn’t sound right.🤔

You what they will say about your gearing now 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just had recall 37A completed after 4 days at the dealership. Though they couldn’t replicate the TPMS error even though the light came on about 2 minutes after I left the dealership.

They “pressure checked” the coolant system and all was normal. Though they couldn’t replicate the “coolant smell” that I smelled IMMEDIATELY after leaving the dealership…

Dealerships suck and I never would have went if it wasn’t for the 37A recall.

Oh, and the engine is much more responsive to the pedal after the 37A recall. If you’ve received the notice from RAM, get it done. My truck stalled three times. The last time was during merging into oncoming traffic…

In all seriousness though, I got the recall done @ 19800 miles, and my CEL started @ 19900 - which was (assumed correctly) diagnosed as a bad MGU (can't know for sure until I get a replacement part in a few months.) Could the recall have affected the MGU, or anything else that would trip a CEL?

No MPG boost, or any other noticable change - besides CEL - after fix...........but I had no issues before.

I don't see how the MGU would cause an engine stall, that's in the engine tuning
