026 Rebel GT built 2/14/2026. Major Uconnect 5 issues. Truck was driven 44 miles by the factory for quality control checks before is was shipped. My third Uconnect 5 truck. 2022 TRX, 2022 Rebel GT and now this one is the worst. Version MY24-U39P.2_PROD. Uconnect telephone support is useless!
Their solution is go to the dealer and see if they can fix it. First drive last Saturday. Activating the turn signals produces a very loud buzzing noise through the speakers. Last night after turning on the headlights I tried to dim the dash lights with the dimmer control. Driver dash did not dim but 14 inch center screen went dark but radio was playing through the speakers. Stop the truck, shut off the ignition, open the door and wait two minutes. Start the truck screen is on but no Android Auto and some pages on the home screen do not load. White circle of death. Solution do a reset holding down both radio knobs. Android Auto will not connect wireless. Galaxy S24+ Android 16 paired but only connects for phone calls. Will connect using a USB cable after unpairing the phone.
But still randomly disconnects while driving. On a positive note Tom Tom navigation works fine, traffic and weather work and the WiFi hotspot works. Traffic and never worked in my 2022 Rebel GT.
