Man. That’s good detective work!! ThanksNot sure what this document is, but it references late availability for the aforementioned features, so it's probably official.

What's really strange about that document is that it stated late availability and it will be part of the Advanced Safety Group. However, if you go to the very last page, the Advanced Safety Group will not be available for the Tungsten. But all the features in that package are already included. For what we have paid for these trucks, it should have all of the features it says are standard on the website. Not sure what this document is, but it references late availability for the aforementioned features, so it's probably official.
I have a suspicion that they are going to quietly axe the auto park assist feature altogether, just like ford and other manufacturers are doing because of poor focus group response. What's really strange about that document is that it stated late availability and it will be part of the Advanced Safety Group. You may be correct but it wasn’t articulated to me at all I am pissed that I paid almost $96K for a truck and it’s missing a “standard feature”. I can’t figure out how to get any leverage with my dealer. Any ideas?I have a suspicion that they are going to quietly axe the auto park assist feature altogether, just like ford and other manufacturers are doing because of poor focus group response.
I didn't get a chance to post yet, but the pics of the Uconnect screen on the website show the auto park button in the upper right.I have a suspicion that they are going to quietly axe the auto park assist feature altogether, just like ford and other manufacturers are doing because of poor focus group response.
Do you wanna know how many times I’ve seen some of Ram’s rendered pics/press releases with features that never came to fruition?I didn't get a chance to post yet, but the pics of the Uconnect screen on the website show the auto park button in the upper right.
However, the reviewed vehicles on YouTube show a larger button that extends over where the parksense button is on the Ram website.
I am actually interested in that. Have there really been features they showed that just never happened?Do you wanna know how many times I’ve seen some of Ram’s rendered pics/press releases with features that never came to fruition?
Curious if you got anywhere with RAM Cares? They
I am in the same boat. Bottom line is the early Tungsten’s like ours don’t have it. It’s a late availability. I ordered mine early in 24 and no one mentioned this to me. I am very annoyed as this is listed as a standard feature for the Tungsten. I am working with Ram Cares but I am not sure what the are going to do if anything. My sales guy is not great and he had no idea until I told him it was missing.
Nothing. The dealer doesn’t care and neither does RAM. I would love to have someone remedy this but not sure how.Curious if you got anywhere with RAM Cares?
I have a 21 Limited, getting a new Tungsten soon (Waiting for dealer to "retrieve" it from another dealer. My 21 has active park assist, never ever could get it to work correctly, and frankly never really needed it. Some of the "electronic functionality" will be released as updates to the vehicle based on an conversation I had with a engineer at a auto show recently. From what I gathered by the conversation they initially release a number of the Tungsten's to "see" how the market accepted them. As of right now you can't even order one, so what is on the lots right now is all they have. I tried to order one new and my dealer says they are all unavailable to order. So its either this, or I order a limited fully specced out.I have a suspicion that they are going to quietly axe the auto park assist feature altogether, just like ford and other manufacturers are doing because of poor focus group response.
Yup! Let's hope the "Hands free driving assist" works well, based on what I have seen, its not as good as the BlueCruse and Hands free option for GM, but it does work well. I most excited about the HO Hurricane power pant. and the new seats!Nothing new woth Ram care. I did go back to my local dealer and the sales manager, tried to order a new Tungsten and that option wasn't available on the build sheet.
They then mentioned FCA, had lots of issues with the autopark in the previous years.
The Hands free option works pretty good, but if your eyes even wander for more than a second, you are getting warned with lights and seat vibrations.Yup! The Hands Free works surprisingly well!!Yup! Let's hope the "Hands free driving assist" works well, based on what I have seen, its not as good as the BlueCruse and Hands free option for GM, but it does work well. I most excited about the HO Hurricane power pant. and the new seats!
I echo what you said!! I was a little worried about the light color, but it's not as light as the pictures make it look. The interior is beautiful and comfortable. The Hands free option works pretty good, but if your eyes even wander for more than a second, you are getting warned with lights and seat vibrations.
As for the engine, I am thoroughly impressed. Anyone that gets in the Tungsten immediately comment about the seats and color trim. Most my friends mentioned it seems on par with the European luxury cars. I'll second that as I just sold a 23 X5M
you will like the hands free. it works very well in my opinion. I about shart myself when I came up on a car and turn my signal on to pass and the truck made the maneuver all by itself. I was like are you kidding me.Yup!
