2025 Tungsten Questions

At least they don’t have their head down completely as it pertains to EVs..but that’s a whole other conversation.

3 things would keep me from the Tungsten or Limited. The air suspension, Ram Boxes, and the power side steps.
They should not be forcing the boxes on every truck. I wonder what the actual take rate was on them.

you can get a limited with the 6 foot 4 bed and no ramboxes. they were a deal killer for me too until I realized this. no long bed option for the tungsten though i dont think.

I'm not opposed to most of the standard things on the Limited except for the extra passenger screen. Otherwise the option choice is pretty good.

my wife is kind of looking forward to the pass. screen on our longer trips. me I could care less like you. but she is 51%. LOL

The Ramboxes take away normal usable bed space for small item storage. This is not something that should be made standard.
Sounds to me like they made a deal with the supplier to take a lot of boxes so they get a cheaper price, and then charge the buyer for something they don't want.

Sometimes I think they did it on purpose to limit the amount of Tungstens on the road.

They have to know that a fair amount of the customer base wouldnt want certain features.

It's been a few months now. So, are there any Tungsten owners on here? Thumbs up or down? I like to get the "macdaddy" but maybe the lowly Limited (no rambox) is better for me.

Looking at the Tungsten, the limited has a standard rambox on the short-bed as well, I would prefer not to have a rambox either but if they are forcing me in those two trimlines I would take the Tungsten.

I’ve had my Tungsten for a few weeks now. Amazing truck! The one thing I cannot find though is the Park Assist button, or how to use the Park Assist…where’s this? The Mopar tutorials all point to a button on the center screen, which just isn’t there

I am in the same boat. Bottom line is the early Tungsten’s like ours don’t have it. It’s a late availability. I ordered mine early in 24 and no one mentioned this to me. I am very annoyed as this is listed as a standard feature for the Tungsten. I am working with Ram Cares but I am not sure what the are going to do if anything. My sales guy is not great and he had no idea until I told him it was missing.

There’s this and using iPhone as a key. Neither available.
When you say, “late availability” does that mean that it’s coming as a software update or only available on later builds?
I wish they would just be more transparent

Both that, and parksense, are advertised as available on the website and same as you guys I was not informed that this wasn't going to be a part of my order. They're also listed as standard features when building the vehicle, so that's somewhere between misleading and false advertising... Unless it will be enabled through a software update.

Yes the iPhone as key should come as an update. The park sense is missing the button. It shows the button in press photos but not on any trucks I have seen. I think we need to band together and get RAM to make the park sense thing right. I have had it on all my Limited Rams and cannot believe it is missing from the Tungsten with no notice.

Checked with my local dealer. It’s not in the limited or longhorns either
Definitely should band together. This seems like a class action for sure.
There is a lot of software in this thing, I really think it may well be a software button in the row at the bottom of the screen
