2025 Ram 1500 Current Owners - Discussion, Feedback, and Problems

Not that I'm aware, but I'm not sure one is needed with the SST H/O. I'm interested to see what more mechanically inclined folks in here have to say about whether a catch can is needed/warranted/recommended for the IL 6 with turbos.

A catch can captures and filters excess oil from entering the intake manifold, which can cause timing issues and trigger the computer to sense ticking and knocking. I just do not know if it is needed or warranted with the turbos and IL 6. I never put one on my 2020 HEMI and loved the smoke out of the exhaust when I started it.

No. It is not necessary.

Is there an adjustment or something to keep the rear seats folded up? When I fold my rear seats up they fall back down quite easily with any driving at all. Any other truck I've been in when you fold the rear seats up they stay there until pulled back down with no need to strap or lock them in place, just wondering if the way mine are working (falling back down) is normal for the rams.

Nope they stay up by themselves 🧐

I assume there’s nothing on your seat when you fold it and that you’re putting them all the way up?

OK, being I'm not too proud to admit when I'm wrong......this was operator error. Shortly after purchasing the truck I put seat covers on, front and rear, and they're about 1/4 inch thick. After removing the back portion of the rear seat covers, what do ya know, the back of the rear seats fold up just a little further than they were, to the point where they do sort of lock into place as Ramboy13 mentions. Mystery solved.:) I know you guys here like the more difficult questions and while this wasn't one of them, your replies are appreciated. Thanks!

Good on you for figuring out… AND telling us about it! Nice!

Does everyone’s front windows go all the way down or does the back of the window stick up about 3/8-1/2 inch?
