No, normally the more expensive the vehicle is the more content it has and the more chance for issues.

Sure, but depends on the vehicle. My wifes Lexus LX is over 100K, has every gadget imaginable and hasn't had a single issue.

That's not my point, I'm just noting that human nature is that if you pay more, you get more upset when they have issues. To say you don't get bothered more when something is double the price turns out to be headache is something I don't agree with, but we are all different.

If you think you would be more upset with a $100K vehicle breaking than you would if a $40k vehicle breaks you are in an extreme minority. The person who buys the new $40K new truck is likely buying a truck that consumes the same percent of his income as the person buying the $100K truck.

Yet again, what someone pays for a new vehicle is completely irrelevant to their expectations of reliability.

Good point on more people buying the cheaper vehicle, though considering the average RAM is now approaching $60K in value, I think the reality is somewhere in the middle. My point however is, the more you pay, the more upset you get when it has issues, especially when the cheaper one doesn't.

I'm open minded enough to admit I could be in the minority, at least on this thread.
