Hey all, my 2025 order is exactly everything I want, but one thing I'm questioning is the lighting.
It's important that I have all LED exterior lighting - my current 2022 Laramie has all LED exterior lighting. My current 2025 order doesn't specify if it has the same lights as a base Laramie, and when adding the additional packages, the lighting shows in the photos doesn't change.

My Laramie build includes:
Night Edition
Advanced Safety Group II
Technology Package

The Advanced Safety and Night Edition due mention that it includes "Exterior Front (and rear) Lighting Animation". Would the lighting animation be something included with the base level lights? Or would these be the same lights found on the Limited +? The dealer mentioned that the lights have a different code for level 2 night edition, and they heard there won't be amber lights in the rear, but they aren't sure if the change in lights is what I'm hoping for or not.

Idk the answer to this, but every 2025 I've seen on dealer lots all appeared to have halogen tail lights...I can't say 100% for sure they were all halogen, but even on the Laramies I remember seeing them and thinking why did they put halogen tail lights on the Laramies lol

Yea no LED taillights on the Laramie anymore, sucks as I even had them on my 2019 Big horn with the led light package. I guess they are copying the other manufacturers as it seems Ford did the same thing to the Lariat. I plan on upgrading them to the Limited LED's very soon as long as they are plug and play.

Ford took the LED tail lamps away from the XLT. Lariat has them on the 2024's.

Sure, but there haven’t been any level II trucks produced yet, and the lights are different from base, but it’s unclear how they are different.

This isn’t a sure thing though as the lights on level II will be different in some way, it’s just not clear how. I find it odd that would have light animations if all the lights aren’t LED.

Since not one level II has rolled off the lot yet, was just hoping someone might have some kind of insight of what to expect.

Okay, I see your point. I hadn't realized that no level two's had rolled off the line yet.

Curious on this just cause I want to upgrade my lights if possible haha.

I agree< I cant imagine anything other than LED for animated lights.

I'm thinking about ordering a set and trying them. My 2019 had LED tails and even my 2014 Sport had them so it's like I went backwards 10 years when it comes to tail lights.

DO IT!! Then report back if they are plug in and how you like them? Your truck doesn't have the night edition package does it?

Will see LOL, No my truck does not have the night edition. From what I can tell I don't see a difference in the color of the lights from the night edition limited to the regular one.

Mine says premium lighting group in the build sheet

Yeah I don't think the rear lights have a difference from night edition to the standard lights. I'm more curious if they will work or if we would need to switch the lighting to LED like the previous trucks.

Did you have a PN for the taillights? I thought we had a post that mentioned the PN's, but I can't find it.

I've got a '20 Laramie Level 1, and it has LED fronts (non-moving) and it makes no mention of them on the window sticker.
I also have a '21 Limited, that has LED fronts that move, and again makes no mention of them on the window sticker, but it does say LED fog lights and rear taillights.
The front LED on both are the best lights I've had in lots of trucks. My '14 GM SLT was horrendous, couldn't drive at night, and GM knew they screwed up, 2 factory fixes later it was OK. My '18 Ford was almost as bad. I took the truck back to the dealer and said 'please fix these candles'. They did nothing, I sorta fixed with aftermarket (but had to take the whole front end apart, what a PITA).

I can confirm with my 2025 Laramie Level 2 (took delivery 8/22/24) with Night Edition that it has incandescent rear taillights and third brake light, and the LED reflectors for headlights, no led DRL but LED fog lamps.
